The Combat Control Foundation
It's always humbling for me to contribute to the least known or recognized special operations force in the world and a community I'm proud to call family. Please consider supporting the Combat Control Foundation. The need is great. Special thanks to John Campolo and Dan Tracey for creating this video and singer Tiffany for breathing emotion into the project. For more information visit: combatcontrol.team

Cant wait to meet Chapman in heaven
They left their brother behind. I fought over there and we had a rule. Everyone goes home dead or alive and u never ever leave your brothers
What a pointless waste. Of everyone's lives.
I can’t stop shaking….. How could you do that to your Comrade….I’m humbled by this AMERICAN HERO….I’ll forever think of that dude…..before I waste another second..
"heavy PKM machine gun". The PKM is a general purpose machine gun, and I doubt these guys had it on a sustained fire mount.
The seals left him to die. Absolutely shameful
U don't train men like this it's his character nothing more or less gods speedy nate
i can just do whatever i want on this saturday afternoon. because of men and women like you. i am literally in awe of what you have done. saying thank you i feel would be disrespectful to you. i’m proud to be an american. i will never be someone of your stature. and, that is ok. thank you for freedom. thank you.
I don’t know how you couldn’t watch this as an American and not understand the proud privilege that you have. God bless you.
It really sounds like Chapman should’ve been the team leader because why is the team leader the one not in the front?
The Enemy " surrender we have you surrounded " John Chapman " All I am surrounded by is fear and dead men "
God damn War hero. Thank you for what you did for me, Mr. Chapman.
The indomitable human spirit
This man was brought to Valhalla by the Valkyries. Odin himself greeted him at the gate, invited him to sup and dine at the table of the Aesir. May God bless this badass warrior and thank you for your sacrifice, you saved the lives of many men in your final 24 hours. May his sacrifice never be forgotten.
Wierd it only shows 3 people going down the hill when they decide to leave Chapman. There should be five people ..
Never forget those SEALS left him to die then tried to block his medal of honor. Disgraceful
The background music is so annoying.
Question: what US navy seals and delta forces doing on a remote mountain in afganistan?
They were recovering a fallen seal who had fallen out while they were in the chinook.
@@xavierwhite74 i understand. But before that. What are seals doing in that region

John was born to get hard.
Chuck Norris has John Chapman nightmares
Now this. Is a hero. THIS is the lone survivor. I’m sorry but….. wow
Are u really proud???
RIP To John Chapman John Is A Great Hero
Rest in peace, badass.
What a brave man that almost made me cry dam he was a beast
At the 1:50 mark the narrator says Chapman is alone but clearly his team leader is right there behind him, that’s an incorrect statement to make on the narrator’s part.
My New Hero Greetings From Mexico
The SEALs showed very poor behavior that day. Considering the drama that has come out about them it doesn't surprise me they didn't warn the Rangers about the bunkers. They really are like high school mean girls. It wasn't the ChairForce that day was it? AirForce and Army Rangers outshined the SEALs that day.
Seals are very controversial indeed. There’s a lot more than meets the eye with the lone survivor Marcus too
I'm sure he'd be thinking of his two kids and his wife in the end. His true loves
I will never forget John Chapman I'm Going to spread his story and make sure everyone knows who he is
A lone wolf that protects respect
Thank you is not enough. There are no words for your heroic selfless actions sir! We are forever endebted, along with the many others who have their lives in all of these wars! God bless you and God bless America and all of those Serving along with their families ! ❤🙏🏻
The doom slayer was real and his name was John Chapman.
Why was the drone recording not weaponised. Youd think this was a given in special ops with all the tech hovering around. Punster*. Notice Chapman doesn't ____ around and engages the enemy straight off the bat. Punster* Was he not liked by his team for his style of engagement? Of course they abandoned him. Obviously if they did check if he was alive they would've felt a pulse. Im guessing they also recovered his body? Rip Msgt Chapman.
Came here after watching the movie “ Black Hawk Down “ I only wish we knew what was on this heros mind. Its men like him that lead me to believe some lives are too precious for this world. They belong in paradise. R.i.p brave soldier. He wasnt fighting for himself, he fought for his brothers
Hand to hand combat? It doesnt look like they were that close to each other though
God rest their souls. May Chapman be in heaven Lord, God 🙏🏽
The SEALs left him to die
Facts, they all was cowards....the team leader has my respect
This is why we are still free, thx for your service and sacrifice
Alright …. After watching this a few times …… Chapman was acting reckless and endangered the lives of his fellow teammates …. Or am I trippin ?
“No point in arguing with idiots. You’ll lose to their own logic “
You’re right
@@sikbone what are you trying to say
@@Edible_Semtex_ he was part of a rescue team sent in to retrieve the bodies of his fallen comrades. Their only option was to move forward. They were already in a horrible spot. Sitting like ducks wouldve gotten them all killed. He took it upon himself to move forward and take the enemies out. While his team stayed back. They were already receiving heavy enemy fire upon landing just like the second shuttle took heavy fire and they even downed a few soldiers on landing. That being said, he sacrificed himself to save the lives of his team and you sit there disrespecting this hero. People need to be more like him. Bless his team leader as well. No point in arguing with idiotic statements but since you asked. There you go.
Shughart and Gordon's are the first ever recorded.
What a man!!!
I watch this video at least once a week it feels like. When I'm feeling weak, and sick and I just want to give up because I'm so tired of being sick... I watch this man, fighting till the end. And it gives me strength. RIP John Chapman, you saved many more lives than just the men on that mountain with you.
Cold blooded dedication to duty 🫡
Fucking Respect !!! ✊💯
This a hero not football player ge T I t r I b h TY
The navy seals left him there..bunch of scumbags
So, they rescue the dead Seal and then abandon the guy who led the charge to get the dead Seal? No way in hell anyone can make this anything but what it was----despicable.
