This is the most calming recitation of Surah Rahman (The Beneficent) on all of youtube along with a highly educational yet captivating (rather spellbinding) recitation. The unbelievable recitation by Zaid Shanti is far superior to Surah Rahman by Zain Abu Kautsar. This qari is obviously a better qari than Zain Abu Kautsar. It appears to be in the style of Surah Rahman abdur rahman al ossi who is a better qari but this particular recitation is more 'genuine' (heart-felt and not feigned). It never sounds fake like Surah Rahman abdur rahman al ossi or Surah Rahman Abdur Rahman As Sudais. It is a truly heart felt Quran recitation like the old Surah Rahman by Sheikh Mishary Alafasy. It definitely fits the definition of a "heart felt" recitation and most certainly is heart melting. This Quran visualization attempts to explain all verses in real time in the best way possible for this particular Quran recitation. About the Subject Matter: Surah Rahman (سورة الرحمن) is call to humans and jinn to acknowledge Allah's infinite blessings, hence the recurring question: “Then which of your Lords favors will you both deny?”, which is repeated 31 times. This surah presents a very vivid picture of Hell and Heaven in the afterlife. Further it urges man to explore and ponder nature and his surroundings so that he may see the signs of the creator. The healing powers of this Surah (chapter 55) of the Quran have been well documented. I would urge viewers not to pay attention to those and instead ponder on the meaning and deep wisdom contained in this exceptional Surah of the Quran. While recitation of the Quran, including Surah Rahman, holds significant spiritual and psychological value for Muslims, there is no scientific or empirical evidence to support the claim that specific verses or chapters possess inherent healing properties.
