The main theme of the surah is consolation of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH. It begins with an assertion that Allah Almighty would not abandon the Prophet. Then it reminds him of Allah's favor toward him which is emphatically stated in verses 6 to 8. The chapter ends with an exhortation to care for the downtrodden and to preach Allah’s message. Surah Ad-Duha is considered one of the most beautiful short Surahs of the Quran. It is one of the most commonly recited Surahs in salat and children are encouraged to memorize it by heart at a very early age.
