The best part of this show to me is the relationship between Klaus and Marcel. Like it hurts! Him not wanting to turn him because he was proud of the man he had raised and didn’t want being a vampire to change him only for Marcel to be exactly the way he was before only immortal. Like with Caroline sometimes being a vampire highlights the good in you too! Also are those the Chronicles of Vladimir Todd behind you? Taste!

Welcome back. I still can't believe Marcel thought they could get passed Elijah, bro. You've seen what happens when you throw a bunch of young vampires at an Original. It doesn't work. Have to wondered how every member of a mob family somehow avoided triggering their curse. It's just really funny to me. This show kind of makes you realise like how screwed the Mystic Falls Gang would've been if Klaus actually wanted them dead.

The scene where Klaus gave Hope to Rebekah is just so PERFECT, one of my favorite scene in the show i think, i couldn't eat bc of how much i cried and i COULDN'T STOP i love klaus and rebekah relationship to pieces, and seing them like that, after the whole drama about rebekah calling mikael was just too much to handle for me, and the little detail that he gave the same little knight to hope that he initally gave to rebekah when they were kids, that was the end of me lmao and the "Hope. Her name is Hope" his soft tone here, plss, everything about this scene is just so good

sorry to write another comment but just to anwser to your question about "why hayley had to drink the baby's blood to achieve the transition" it's because she was originally a werewolf so she became a hybrid! not a simple vampire ^^ And as to why hope's blood particuraly, is like when klaus needed elena's blood, bc she was a dopplengenger and esther used that blood to scele his werewolf gene, that's the same with hope, only HER blood can make her own hybrid, we learned that thanks to Tyler's experiment in the early episodes!

Your Caroline impression is SPOT ON. Honestly you’re able to convey their emotions soooo well just in this recap form!! I literally cried listening to you explain the ending of season four 😭 to be fair I have seen it a few times so I have the memory of watching and experiencing it, but you’re a great story teller!!! I’ve been going through a really hard time with my health and recap deep dives on here have been getting me through it. I recently have hit the bottom of the well, unable to find more comedic and entertaining ones that didn’t sound like soulessly reading from a script but this series is feeding my SOULLLLL. Sarah J Maas doesn't kill anyone of significance ever. That's something that bothered me even in TOG. I didn't want her to kill my favorite characters but after everything... just one character is not enough...
