This general guide will help you save everyone on normal difficulty in Frostpunk - The Fall of Winterhome!
It outlines the key milestones you'll need to achieve throughout each of the scenario's four phases:
Phase I: Clean up and morale restoration

It is highly critical that all aspects of the city are managed carefully as the sick and wounded recover.

I was able to complete all objectives and save the maximum number of people at normal difficulty.
This scenario forces you to adopt the strategies of the previous three in the vanilla version of the game.

    I haven’t played this scenario yet just started and since it’s so different from the others I figured I’d look up a guide. I have played every other scenario on normal difficulty and it’s jsut been too damn easy I finished every one with no discontent and max hope and fill every space in city with large resource depots for all the excess stuff I have. So I figured I’d try this one on hard And I know you’re doing it on normal so it may be different. But my first thoughts are that the goal is not saving people it’s to get hope and discontent down. And you have soooo many citizens I don’t understand why you prioritize med and healing so much since if people die that’s less responsibility and it’s easier to manage a smaller group and as people get sick you can just replace them with healthy people until you get to the point where you are stable and have a positive flow of every resource and positive hope growth and discontent drain and then focus on healing the people who are left. Idk though I could be wrong I’ve never really had people die in other scenarios so not sure how that impacts hope and discontent but I feel like there are laws to minimize that rather than laws to speed up healing it just seems letting your people die off if you can get it where it doesn’t hit your hope or discontent too hard would be ideal But I’m going to try it your way and see what happens. I just have a feeling I’m going to get my ass kicked.

    Actually useless. Doesn't even answer the main question that I have about the map. What is the win condition? is it a 100 day map? 20 day map? how long do you have to be bored on it?

    Im a little late to the party but like your video a lot. Subbed and you deserve more subs! Thanks for the series ill be watching them as needed when i fail. First run i went in blind and 21 people died the first night because i went for wood to build instead of coal. They were fine during the day so i didnt think they would die at night. Lol I have a lot to learn haha

    A resource depot that close to the inner ring? Why? It doesn't need heat. Silly to waste prime building space for storage you don't even need right now. Again, you build the beacon a building that does need heat in an area you're going to end up heating. You'll end up heating a building that doesn't need heat.

    Faster gathering is a trap. It's not worth doing now. There are other tecs much better at this time. By the time your research it your gathering of the piles will be almost over. So your faster gathering nets you nothing again at this time.

    Based on my gameplay. The only thing I can add is that... 1. In the fortified hut you can have engies there though an interesting event will happen there but it will happen near the end and will not effect gameplay so if you need help you can pull out those engies 2. The weather station may seem important but its just useless to me because all you lose is the weather forecast but all the temp does is go lower so pull those guys out 3. Use your steam cores in the production you need Coal is the easiest to me the advanced coal mines mines can really produce a lot of it and you can scale down as evacuation goes even coal thumpers and gathering posts will do the job Food is easy as well but you need a lot of hunters huts you can use the hothouses but I only do that with automatons to make this resource easier Sign the Soup Law Steel is the hardest so I ussualy devote the automatons and the outpost for that Automatons are very useful and more so when the intergration upgrade is made to make the work 24/7 and you can dismantle the automaton if you need steam cores. Also with the workshop and medical integration upgrade you can use the engies on the repair shop Wood is the least you need so one wall drill is enough for the job but if you're in a pinch for coal use the charcoal burners for that 4. Keep hope and discontent in check when riots break out you can convince them to stop and will get an efficiency bonus as a sorry 5. Keep the repair station fully staffed always the more the engies staffed the easier the repairs are if you only react to the problem it will only get worse

    that arena placement. i just place five houses in a row in the first ringe and the arena behind it to cover everyone, since it doesn't need to be heated, and helps with discontent, allowing me more Emergency shifts/14 Hours shifts.

    I found corpse disposal more useful for No-death runs since A: it doesn't cut into work time, and B: it leads to organ transplants which gives all medical facilities a 20% efficiency boost with no downsides (or actual corpses required).

    I just failed this scenario (😭) so was looking up some tips and I'm wondering why you're putting people on coal immediately? Of course this is a year old, so you might not even remember lol. But when I was doing it the coal shipments coming in seemed like more than enough. Getting people to gather it as well just meant I needed more storage.

    I find that even following the steps exactly the night results in an additional 20 or so sick, the health system is enought to balance it but not eliminate the issue.

    The Canning Workshop doesn't always appear, and its absence can make Food a real problem, but not insurmountable. If you go Faith, you won't need Infirmaries, and building and staffing Houses of Healing will be less expensive. If you have sufficient medical care, building Houses will be unnecessary. Bunkhouses have been shown to be sufficient shelter at ever difficulty level. =^[.]^=

    Interesting. I turn on Overdrive every night by habit, between 22:00 and 04:00, the time span in which the game seems to generate Illness (returning Hunters notwithstanding).

    The Automaton Project is, in most circumstances, a waste of a Steam Core. The only way it's worth it, especially when Steam Cores are in short supply, is if you intend to run a LOT of Automatons. Otherwise, the 5% Efficiency boost is nice if you cancel the project, but a coupla iffy techs really isn't worth it. By the way, if you research Automatons and all the Integration Techs *before* ever building an Automaton, then the project will raise your Automatons' efficiency from 90% to 100%. Not the way to go in the Arks scenario, but an interesting option. =^[.]^=

    Engineers can double up between Research and Medical Post duties. Pull a couple of extra Engineers from even a full medical facility and throw them in a Workshop during the day. At end of shift, chuck them (or as many as are needed) back into the Medical Post (or what have you), and they will function in that capacity overnight, until their next shift in the Workshop. =^[.]^=

    I would place my (eventual) Infirmary where you placed your first Resource depots, as the one outsider you encounter comes from that direction, and needs all the help he can get when he does, ASAP. Given that you're likely to place a Steam Hub there, next to the Ark, it makes a fine place for healthcare. =^[.]^=

    Overcrowding is the GOAT Law in most scenarios, but not this one. The likelihood that that many of your Engineers will be sick at one time is extremely slim. ='[.]'=
