Good move Olya, you can teach your children on how to bake in such an early age or teach them a simple task around the house to be able to be independent. That's how we Filipino teach our kids very young. Specially girls like how to wash dishes, wipe tables after meal.

Hello Olya, I found the answer! When you introduce air (beating egg whites), ube has a tendency to oxidize and change color. So maybe add a tiny amount of food color to regain the purple. You're a great pastry chef!

If I cook shrimp rebusado I don't put lemon only salt,pepper,flour,cornstarch and msg.You can put ketchup a little bit.You have to make a batter first with it's consistency.Its good if it has more cornstarch and flour together with the shrimp.
