Care to share how you connected the two boards?
I just need a list of components to buy to build an ac powered , Bluetooth radio with a subwoofer but I'm having a hard time finding it
I do think it's sounds dynamic in highs. Dude you lacking tweeters in this thing to be able to create true dynamic highs or real wide soundstage.
Do you sell this speaker system? Where do i find these systems already built and ready for purchase. I've been looking for a portable Bluetooth 2.1 boombox forever!
Why didn't you get 2 tweeters and 2 midrange speakers with the sub? I will build a similar speaker, so i'm trying to figure out all my options first. Nice vid keep up the work!
Hey, have you made a portable subwoofer? I'm looking to make one that fits into a Pelican Air case, as well as an 8 or 10" top speaker for taking my DJ setups to destinations that require flying.
Pecka super sound Blaster
Now eiffelton audio have nice 4.1 amplifier whith dsp and tpa3116 and ldac bluetooth.
Are there stronger amplifiers that can push around 100rms to a sub?
Can you make build logs of your speakers?
I own a cabinet shop if you need something Cnc cut let me know. I would love to experiment with cabinet designs.
Fantastic.....
what a beauty
How'd the smaller version build go?
this video is helpful but your music is way too hot in the mix.... I came here to find out info, not listen to a loop
Tons of blah blah and no Sound at the end
I have the red white and yellow male RCA cable and I need the female on one end can I simply cut the three male tips off the one and and connect the red white and yellow tips from a female in their place??
Can you please put the build process with the dimension of the sub
What's the background song and 1:30?
Nice
Please make me one of these. 🙏🥺😢🙏 I wanna buy one. I am a noobie. I can't make one my self. 😵💫😖😣
Does this equipment setup allow for expanding the playtime with more batteries? Or does the current equipment not allow for easy expansion of additional power cells?
The current battery board is limited to five 26650 cells, but you could theoretically put to separate boards in parallel to the amplifier to double the capacity. But as is this 18.5v 5ah battery gives plenty of playtime on its own.
Bla-bla-bla... Shut up, please!
Hi any chance you can upload a photo showing how to connect the 2 dayton boards.
Woh wide and how long is the wood cut?

Great Video !! Please keep making more such informative videos. I recently did a KEF Q150 Bookshelf speakers review on my channel. link for your suggestions and to learn from you czcams.com/video/IasdvlDNzJw/video.html
Man stop the annoying background music. Had to stop watching the video. Never do that in an instructional video
i also made bluetooth speaker👉 czcams.com/video/WCLw196DUOg/video.html your speaker is awesome, great work 👍
Such a nice build. I want to build similar setup but with 2 DSPB-250 and 1 KAB-100. Want to power 2 woofer with 1 board and 2 midrange and tweeters with the other board. Ofcourse the 100 watt amp to a subwoofer. What are your thoughts? Looking forward to your smaller formfactor build. Can the below frequencies be programmed to the board and make it all work seamlessly? Current drivers I am looking at :- From 10,000Hz - 22,000Hz HiVi B4N 4" Aluminum Round Frame Midbass - 2 Peerless by Tymphany BC25TG15-04 1" Silk Dome Tweeter - 2 Bass 35Hz - 3,000Hz Tang Band W6-1139SIF 6-1/2" Paper Cone Subwoofer Speaker - 1 Mid 3,000Hz - 10,000Hz Dayton Audio ND105-4 4" Aluminum Cone Midbass Neo Driver
List of all parts and steps would be appreciated I'm in UK so recommendations by others is welcome also
Watt?
It's about 100 watts RMS total, 2x25 for the full range drivers and 1x50 for the subwoofer
Glad I found this channel, you make excellent videos. Can you measure TS parameters with the Clio? I recognized that little Bose woofer on the table since I have one in my garage, I'd love to measure it and figure out what kind of box it needs.
Good eye! Yes that is a Bose subwoofer diver I salvaged out of an old Bose system. And yes Clio Pocket can measure TS parameters, although I have never tried it. That's a good idea for a video though. Thanks for watching!
Super detailed and great information. Thanks, man!
After the job is over, I don't test the sound for you..why?
It is very difficult to properly demonstrate sound quality of a system through video. The camera microphone doesn't accurately record the full system bandwidth, and the device that that is playing the video doesn't accurately reproduce those sounds as well. Since you and many others asked for it, I will try and make a video that best demonstrates the sound quality of this speaker 🔊
How do you find the bass and pressure in room compared to this PE vs your recent dual 8” PR build that you posted
The 8 inch Dayton Audio subwoofer with the dual pr has more output than PE speaker with the 5 1/4 inch Tang band subwoofer, but I think the TB sub sounds better and has better low frequency extension than the Dayton. This could be because a few reasons, but I think it's mostly due to the Dayton sub needs more box volume with the dual pr's. More box volume will increase SPL, low frequency extension, and sound quality. I will post a video comparing the two within the next week.
@@LoudLabsAudio thank You for the reply yours is the only channel who does projects on BoomBox and that is what I want to do
Wonderful glad youtube showed my your channel subscribed it. Looking forward to building these. Also if you can have a video of it playing out in open air like garden or terrace wanted to know how it performs especially vs boss or jbl type BoomBox. Also since this is on battery would like to take in different cars that don’t have a good sound system
Where can I get this
I'd buy one.
How much was approximate cost? Do you have your plans? Did you build crossovers? I want to build one with a Tang Band 6.5inch. let me know if you make one. Nice work
Hey thanks! This speaker cost roughly $450 to build. I have technical drawings of the cabinet that I will post on my website once I have a finalized design and I know everything fits. The crossover for the sub and full range drivers is done digitally through the DSP, so there are no passive crossover components. Make sure you're subscribed so you get the notification when I upload a video, thanks for watching!
Very nice speaker!
sweet bbox, looking forward for a smaller one :)
Yo waited for a while keep it up ma man
Jbl bass pro go compared to this
I don't have any experience with the JBL BassPro Go, but just from reading the specifications, they look pretty comparable, similar subwoofer configuration and power output, the Executive speaker might have cleaner, louder high frequency output with the coaxial drivers, but it will be more heavy with the passive crossover components. JBL makes quality products, you can't go wrong with either. The cool thing about the kit is you build it yourself and can customize it, verses just buying a speaker from a store.
@@LoudLabsAudio ikr
My speaker is about the same size n guaranteed it sounds 100 times better well 10 times better realistically , if anyone has equipment, I have many designs that will change the game in the speaker industry, my first n only speaker I built shits on any speaker on the market less that $2000 and only speant 95.59 usd
How do I connect with you need to make BoomBox in budget
I just epoxied my speaker together n no nails lol
Dam $200 u should hear my speaker I paid less than $100 and it’s so loud and the bass is better than most cars, and it’s only powered by two 4 1/2 mid loudspeakers n 2 tweeters but I have four 6 1/2 in passive radiators
Wait wait wait, in another comment you said the speaker is the same size as this. Yet it has two 4.5in mid drivers, two (assuming 2in tweeters) and four 6.5in PR's. Also you say it shits on anything on the market. So let's say bare minimum components you'd be running a large amplifier board. Which also with all those drivers you'd need let's say a board of 5 26650s to have a battery life of 2 hours at half volume on a good day. Not to mention the tuning of the box with the PR's to get yourself to 35hz. Like I get this isn't real, however even if you built something to these specs this would be the size of a table. Also it would cost more than 100 for all the components. Even using the cheapest of drivers, Amp, capacitors, wiring, batteries and so on. Which with the cheapest of components wouldn't compare to even the UE hyperboom or JBL boombox, which are both pretty eh.
Every goddamn time i make my guitar cables i forget the screwing part that needs to be on the cable pre-soldering... Anyhow, clean work with a nice clear instructional voice over mate, well done.
Most you can pull is 2500 watts from 110v wall with 30 amp breaker. If you had 220 now that would be different. It might do 4000 watts for a second until it pops circuit breaker in your home
Yes you are absolutely correct. That's why these amps have 6 very large 200v capacitors (I can't remember off the top of my head how man uF they are) that the amp uses to deliver 4000 watts continuously for 6 seconds, after that the amp starts drawing a ton of power from the wall to charge the caps back up. If I really push the sub I can easily trip the 15 amp breaker that powers my whole system. Since most music is dynamic, this amp can put out 4000 watts+ under normal listening conditions. But you would also have to have 125db+ capable speakers to keep up with the sub.
Can you put a link to the paint you used please. Thank you.
here's the exact coating I used www.parts-express.com/Acry-Tech-DuraTex-Black-1-Pint-Roller-Grade-Cabinet-Texture-260-100
