Glacial Lake Missoula
Glacial Lake Missoula was the source of much of the water for the famous Ice Age Floods of the Pacific Northwest. Featured field evidence for the lake include strandlines above Missoula, Montana, giant current ripples at Camas Prairie, and striking rhythmites along Interstate 90 at Nine Mile Road near Missoula.

It's still trippy to me how me leaving Bellevue (80') on the way towards the mountains that the Issaquah Plateau are was not there but actually an entire gravel pit/almost mini mountain.
can anyone explain how the land rises between the river? that makes no sense. if it were tectonic activity wouldn’t the river rise as well?

I have seen a lot of Nick's more detailed class videos on aspects of the geology of the Pacific Northwest, but these 2 minute geology pieces are still some of the best entry level videos out there. Dear Nick Zentner and Tom Foster, Why hexagonal always forms vertical but not horizontal in Basalt? Maybe it is not volcanos? How can you prove your theory? Mud never cracks in perfect hexagonal, it is more random and chaotic cracks/shapes, so you can't compare it.
If these petrified logs were cut or cracked by nature why most of the cross section of the cuts are flat and exact perpendicular to the length of the log 1:47 Petrified logs are old but the cuts are too perfect to be that old , may be by some old advanced civilizations
