Ang original na Sinulog ay 1 step backward at 2 steps forward ang dance steps at walang storyline kundi parada lang samantalang ang Dinagyang ay 50% cultural 50% religious presentation kaya kapag competition ang usapan mas innovative ang Iloilo Dinagyang depende sa maisip ng choreographer samantalang ang Sinulog eh nakakahon unless kung manggaya sa style ng Dinagyang.
