You know what would be cool for your channel if you did more than just album reviews , like talk music news , for example Marilyn Manson drops his first song since the allegations against him and goes back on tour after getting sober and looking and sounds better than ever … or Aerosmith has called it quits and decided to retire .. also Wes Borland of Puddle of mudd fame fires entire band and gets arrested too.

I initially was a bit underwhelmed with it, but truly it has become one I really love. I still put Social Cues above it, that's just an amazing album.

Maybe it’s just recency bias, but I adore this record front to back. The only song I couldn’t really get down with was mint tea. I think lyrically Sturgill is at his wittiest. His writing carried this track for me. So many memorable lines

Great Review. I completely agree on the line from milky max. Kaser's almost desperate and even sensual delivery of it is so entrancing and encouraging.

I used to be a big fan of the band and still enjoy the earlier albums but this new one is pretty bad. Good review.

This album felt different, I’m my opinion this is his best album in quite some time.

I love this album I do repect your opinion but you can’t tell me this is the worst one,it doesn’t top melophobia but it’s better than some and I love the songs in it! 9/10

Happily disagree! I actually think this is one of the best new releases from Of Montreal I've heard. It does a great job balancing the feels of the more experimental electronic stuff from now and the more folky psychedelic stuff from the past, and it gives a wonderful listening experience for it. Granted, I haven't listed to tons of stuff from after Hissing Fauna, but if you wanted to get into later Of Montreal stuff, I think this is a great point to start

There is an irony in its name being called "Chaos". Last Laugh has an amazing hook and REALLY should have had solo (multiple solo) sections. That song has such a bursting energy, that a saxophone/trumpet/guitar solo/s would have blown the lid off of it. If you're going to make instrumental music then you need to build the composition.

Just so you're aware, the Pervavor EP consists of recordings from 2003, and it originally was released online in 2004 for free. Pervavor was apparently planned to be another full album, but the band dissolved around 2004. Not a big deal, but just is important to correct the timeline here.
