This is not an accurate test because each shotgun may shoot completely different with not only different chokes but also different ammo. Just because a gun underperformed with this choke and ammo combination does not mean it wouldnt pattern amazing with different ammo and or choke.

Is it worth it? I just picked up a SBE3 28 gauge. I'm left handed and purchased the right hand version. After 5 minutes, had adjusted to cast on, and drop, in another 10 minutes had the safety reversed, ending up fitting like a glove, which in turn put a big smile on my face! I love it,,,, but, since I own one, I can point out a couple things that puzzle me. Compared to all my other plastic shotguns (Winchester, Beretta, Mossberg, Tristar, Baikal, Remington, and more) the stock/forearm is the cheapest and thinnest of them,,, but, has an awesome cheek insert,, and while the stock is cheap, it feels very good and solid (this is really a very minor gripe). The biggest complaint is the grip angle,,, foreign manufactures, must think Americans have 6" to 8" fingers. I would not hesitate to spend what I did again. Well worth it! Love your reviews.

You still really didn't understand the comments and critique from the last time. You may have read them, but you obliviously do not understand them. When reviewing a budget shotgun, yo compare it to other budget shotguns, not against more expensive shotguns. You are STILL doing that in this video. That is where the review should start. THEN, since it IS a budget shotgun, sure compare where it falls short compared to the next price point (which is all you do. BUT, also where it compares favorably to that price point as well.

As an owner of a L4S, I’d like to add that it is worth commenting on the tribore barrel, which proves to perform awesome, at least from my experiences and measurements I took on the board (at the disposal of anyone interested in, by letting me know an e-mail address), as well as its performance on the field. I would like also to highlight the surprising performance of the cylinder, perfect to use even at a distance of 30 meters!!! And yes, you can shoot steel with the full chock.

Don't switch your hands or gun to your dominant side just switch you eyes to your dominate hand 💎 Waaayyyy easier. Then you go to both open That starts as you open to a Squint. However still learn to shot lefty and righty. I'm 72 with major surgery on rotator cuff and reattached bicep and chest muscle. I bought a Baretta A400 12 gauge and it's a bit hard on the shoulder, but I find myself getting hit in the cheek a lot with the stock. My question is will this pad stop the gun from hitting my cheek or do you think this is a fit problem?

I've watched and read alot about this shotgun, a few things people don't mention about it. 1 you can't add an extended magazine tube due to having a special mag cap that has a anti seize threads/bushing, 2 it's got a lighter spring which benelli claims it will handle 7/8 oz loads. This is my next shotgun purchase.

Is there is a way to know when you have a round in the chamber. Is there a red dot that will show a round is chamber.

I like a fiber optic bead because they are easy to see at night. It’s part of my routine to Check my beads to make sure I’m mounted correctly and if I can’t see my bead in a low light situation it totally throws me off

Just got a brand new m3020 , had the same issue. So after studying the situation I tried removing the magazine bushings and it run the light loads fine and if I decide to run the heavy loads I'll replace it

How do these stack up against the old school A5

I bought the 12 gauge "88" as a 20" barrel 7+1 capacity home defense shotgun. With its intended use I do not foresee extremely high round count usage and it functions just as slick as other Mossberg shotguns I have owned. In all honesty if this weapon ever sees more than 200 rounds fired through it including practice rounds that will probably be surprising. So for my intended use honestly paying $500+ dollars for a "better" gun really does not make a lot of sense. So the "88" definitely does have use scenarios where spending more money to accomplish its intended task does not make a lot of sense. Better to spend the money saved on the less expensive shotgun on a case or two of buckshot!

I got Nova 12/28 as my first shotgun and no regrets so far. Mostly doing clays. But intention was to have a workhorse and I`m pretty satisfied with that I got. I personally don`t think the SN worth the additional money

You didn't mention that the rules allow full use of the gun on singles. You are allowed to take up to two shots at the single. If you miss with the first shot and hit it with the second shot it is a dead bird.

I had a Diamond grade 12 many years ago however I sold it pretty quick and bought a Beretta 682. The "face kick" from the 101 was brutal. Probably could have gotten an adjustable comb or had the stock bent but the 682 was/is perfect as is.

Seems like Benelli inertia guns are one of those things you either love or hate. No problems vs tons of malfunctions. My hunting buddy has 2 in 20 gauge and loves them. Whenever I see these reviews however, people seem to have issues. Lots of negative comments in this section.

Bullet capacity

I am left eye dominant and shot for 55 years closing one eye just before pulling the trigger. I decided to switch to left hand shooting. It took some time to get used to it as two eyes open was such a different view. After some time I got comfortable with it and now can shoot either left or right. Funny thing is I shoot right with both eyes open now, no trouble. Handy skill in the duck blind as I can switch hands depending on where the ducks are coming from.

We shouldn't be so hard on Steve. Afterall, his reviews are always pretty much spot on and are very helpful when trying to make a decision on a new shotgun, shell or aftermarket accessory. While he may not be an expert on pump guns you can't argue that he doesn't know anything about shotguns. That couldn't be further from the truth. Learning to shoot a pump gun takes a lot of time and practice but once you get the hang of it you fall in love with it. I bought my first Wingmaster 2nd hand in 1990. A case of shells later I was shooting it as well as my 1100. Now, i have added three more to include a Classic Trap which I absolutely love! I used it to win many matches while beating many a Perazzi and Kreighoff. They are incredibly tough and eat about any shell you put in it. Cant say that about every autoloader. I have many shotguns to shoot all disciplines but when it comes down to hunting, I grab my 870. Look up Rudy Etchen some time and see how he felt about the 870. He was one of the greatest shotgunners of all time!
