marvel is in the shitter
In my opinion, any show or movie that’s dumped for a tax write off should be available for free in a public database. If companies are avoiding taxes by just deleting movies I should be able to see it still
best movie game of all time
Strange that your "dad" would specify US dollars. Does he do that a lot?
ALL so, have YOU NOT seen the PARODY on BARNYARD from ROBOT CHICKEN?? Go Watch i!!!!
Uhhm, ANTHROpomorphic animals WOULD not be able to RIDE a bicycle because HIND legs are reversed and would NOT sit correctly to reach the pedals. Plus; Chickens ARE NOT able to FLY!!!! They can jump down an d flutter or glide down or jump up a VERY short distance and flutter "fly".. They ARE NOT correctly SUITED to FLY like say a PIGEON is able to. ( Or like ANY other FLYNG Avian /foul. )
My family got Netflix way ahead of the curve in like 2005 or something, they lived in the boonies with satellite internet and would mail dvds until like 5 years ago when dsl cables got installed their way.
Age of Ultron was a “lesser movie”?? Oh boy. I’m not mad, I’m just disappointed
I remember when Netflix came out and I was devastated my parents were gonna cancel cable because I wouldn't get to watch my Disney Channel shows like Shake It Up anymore 😭😂 I begged them to keep cable but it didn't work lol
Something else, for me at least, is how repetitive all these movies have begun to feel in terms of pacing, CGI, and aesthetic-like OK, we get it, look at how big those splashy colors are. Scorsese made a good point, in that these movies are basically “animated films” at this point… not a lot of groundedness, everything has to be the most epic thing ever, with as many big explosions as possible. Take The Dark Knight-a perfect movie imo, also a superhero movie, some of the best action sequences ever put on film, and yet barely a trace of CGI… the action sequences are so great bc of the other “slow-burning” scenes take their time to build the story. It’s not just big silly battles and alien guns and neon colors all at once. It’s a true, auteur film that happens to be about a superhero. “Joker” is also in the same vain. And that’s why the MCU and DCEU will be remembered as disposable cartoon entertainment, while The Dark Knight Trilogy will be remembered as actually, genuinely, great.
Okay but Marvel wasn't the first to make a cinematic universe. Universal did that back in the 30s-50s with their monster movies
I was CREASING when you shoved them all in the doorless room and gave yourself a zen garden 😂
Hi I'm coming from the future, doesn't want to disappoint you but...
i love everything about this lol
Watch the first episode of yu-gi-oh. I don’t get it.
Never forget The Cayla Psyduck, a tragic event and a community who Mourned for someone they never met ❤️
I have so many friends who worked on coyote vs acme. Most of them talk crap about the things they work on, but every single one of them was so excited for this movie. People really put their all in it. It's still this weird ghost when working on film sets when people wear their wrap gifts crossing their fingers it eventually comes out
Solution: Piracy
1:49 I PLAYED THIS ON MY PARENTS' COMPUTER! Thanks for the flashback, I was not expecting it!
Seeing that Netflix beaver commercial for the first time in years unlocked memories I forgot I had
Didn’t work
My screen has good anti reflection :)
I remember my local shop had a small video rental section when I was kid, and they gave me their copy of Snow White & the Seven Dwarves to keep because I rented it out so much.
The first core memory of embarrassment: Yelling my puppy’s name into my stupid DS with a stupid terrible little kid voice Update: I’m 26 now and can’t make phone calls in front of other people LOL
18:43 - it's kind of insane that you can still buy a pizza for $10 today. How have prices on so many things changed in the past two decades but not pizza?
I hate multiverses.
I am so shocked that The Game Awards (and it's predecessors) have been sexist this whole time! So shocked! /s
The solutions is pay for our art. We want art but we dont want to pay for it. Streaming allows us to get our art for cheap and then we cry when it gets worse
What is the solution? Same as back in the 30s to 40s, government regulations
man times used to be so much simpler. also my dad was one of those bad mf'ers who agreed the ps3/blu ray made sense at the time. hell yah dad.
Enforce anti-trust laws.
Nobody wanna talk about how that Pizza Hut pizza costed $10 all the way back then???
I would so watch the full extended cut of Lord of the Rings with Ricky from high school.
Eddie you need to do a whole video on William Castle. And watch Matinee (1993 John Goodman) which is loosely based on him.
it was for some too much from too many companies, if it were just the one, it could be tolerable, but people are can't eat just one so they get full up and can't finish a meal from one company and complain about their own induced tummy aches. classic consumer over consumption or lack of self control
Anyone else always feel too guilty deleting the previous NintendPets when getting a secondhand DS game so you just... Adopted and took care of the ones already there?
Fuck the big three . It’s just big me
Imagine wanting to watch Dune...
I tried to find out if that Pizza Hut Santa guy was Jim Parsons. All searches point to no, but they also point to 'No one has ever searched this'. That being said, it did strikingly resemble Mr. Parsons.
Interestingly I watch more movies with friends now because of VR. Getting together with friends to watch a movie is now a 5 minute process since I don't have to drive across town and spend $15 or wait for the $5 Tuesdays.
Come on Pong>!
This is a hot take, but Martin Scorsese movies aren’t that good…people just like to say they enjoy them so they seem like “film buffs”
Not a hot take so much as an opinion…but a valid one nonetheless. I love his movies. I think most of them are genuinely entertaining and interesting. Not just to seem cool…trust me it would take a lot more than liking goodfellas for anyone to think I’m cool.
Ive been searching for years to find thr name of this game, this was my CHILDHOOD!! thank you for your service😭
It’s upsetting that streaming culture has even affected something as simple as screen sharing and projection. I used to do screen sharing movie nights all the time with my friends. There was one night my streaming partner wanted to watch a movie with me (he lived 4 hours away). I had the most streaming services thanks to sharing with my dad so I tried to screen share via Discord. But DRM kicked in and all it was broadcasting was the sound - the screen was black. Thankfully it was also available on Netflix so I switched to my browser and it worked fine. But it really made me sad about how much media viewers are at a huge disadvantage right now whenever they want to recommend titles because there’s the added stress of figuring out which platform it’s on. That’s why I keep all of my media physical.
i remember seeing the thanos after credits scene in theaters. everyone lost their minds and erupted into cheers. it was beautiful.
Why do people hate good looking women?
getting a pokemon go ad directly before this video was the cherry on top
burback brothers please i need your help
Honestly, if you are talking trash about the subscription plan and your sponsor is a subscription plan, it's a tiny bitty hypocritical, right? 👀
Also, aside from what you mentioned, the sheer amount of it and the way media works nowadays means its probably less likely for a film to gain any sort of traction outside the very moment its released. like, the idea of "sleeper hits" or "cult classics" that didn't get much recognition when they were first released. but instead build it up over weeks over even years. That kind of scenario seems to rarely ever occur nowadays.
