What a voice. The pickin' speaks for itself.
Real.Country.Music.
Don't know why I'm listening to this song in 2024; however, I'm going to play it again. I like it.
A classic
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
2024?❤
Love it ❤ The song, the video, Junior and Wife. Awesome!
Met Gary many times at Dallas clubs...met Mick at Billy Bobs..such talent...rip
Great song and video! I’ve seen Junior Brown in concert several different times over the years. And we got to meet him once in Nashville
I was 6 when he sang on this stage and the haunting lyrics and melody take me back to atleast 16
Gary Stewart Played At Frankie And Johnny's All The Time. Always Sat At My Table. I will find the Pictures Someday and Share Them. RIP. GARY STEWART. ❤
GO MICKEY
GO MICKEY, GARY STEWART THE BEST. WE MISS YOU GARY. HAD A BIRTHDAY PARTY FOR YOU OVER AT THE COVE. WE KNEW YOU WERE THERE..❤🎉😅
All you have to say is George Jones that says it all
Great song!
GARY WAS UBREAL
This record disappeared from Apple music SUCKS!
Love N Prayers Always 🙏🌠🦋,
Real Country...listen-- nothing but his pure voice and instruments
“She’s Acting Single” is one of the greatest songs of all time. “The truth is, I’m not man enough to stop her from doing me wrong” is such a powerful line
I love this GUY... !!!!!
There once was a Rock critic who said that playing the drums and singing lead on a song ' live ' was like flying 2 jets at the same time ! Levon Helm was such a master musician craftsman ,that he made the task as easy and simple as smiling ...a true genius of his art .Max Weinberg was giving it ...wow , look at this guy dance his stuff ? Magical ...
He's got a unique way of singing.
great song
Joe haymes did this first before this one or the you know what. so this one is a cover right? or is the original james p johnson? hmm.
I love junior Brown and this song in particular. First time I’ve seen this video. Beyond classic!
Amazing
If i had you i wouldn't ever go to a honky-tonk ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Seriously good video production. Its a shame today's music videos don't have as much thought put into them. Always a fan of Mr Brown.
Man he sums up Tejas twang ! Just nails those notes
Miss this guy! What a player! Saw him live many times met him a few times .. What feel!
And just think nashville said he’d never make it with his quivering voice. 😂😂 Nashville has always been wrong and is still putting out trash today
Did the nazis get the idea for the uniforms from us?
I don't mean to be tacky, but this has been a panty dropper for decades....
They were sure playing that a lot faster than normal.
The one and only Levon Helm ❤
It doesn’t get any realer than this, respect and admiration for a real country singer one of the best
One of the best
saw him in austin in 1974....playing in a band doing hendrix....did not look at all how he does now....haha
I agree old country is the greatest 😊
Everybody take a minute for a hats off and a Happy Birthday to Emmylou Harris on her 77th today.
Probably the most underated singer in Country Music History. Pure Country Gold, John Anderson. I remember watching this episode of Hee Haw with my Parents.. I was 10 or 11.
I agree !!!!. John said it right with the song for sure
Hi dad
Good lord , I want one tenth of that fiddle players love of music .
I'm a big fan .❤
I love Amber's music but I sure miss her uncle on steel guitar
True country. I love his voice.
And folks say Florida isn't the south but John Anderson a Florida native sure sounds southern to me...
I mean maybe its the hat. Gotta get one of those.
"Dublin Blues" Well, I wished I was in Austin, mmm In the Chili Parlor Bar Drinkin' Mad Dog Margaritas And not carin' where you are But here I sit in Dublin, mmm Just rollin' cigarettes Holdin' back and chokin' back The shakes with every breath So forgive me all my anger Forgive me all my faults There's no need to forgive me For thinkin' what I thought I loved you from the get go And I'll love you till I die I loved you on the Spanish Steps The day you said goodbye I am just a poor boy, mmm Work's my middle name If money was a reason Well, I would not be the same I'll stand up and be counted, mmm I'll face up to the truth I'll walk away from trouble But I can't walk away from you So forgive me all my anger Forgive me all my faults There's no need to forgive me For thinkin' what I thought I loved you from the get go And I'll love you till I die I loved you on the Spanish Steps The day you said goodbye I have been to Fort Worth, mmm And I have been to Spain And I have been too proud To come in out of the rain And I have seen the David, mmm I've seen the Mona Lisa too And I have heard Doc Watson Play Columbus Stockade Blues Forgive me all my anger Forgive me all my faults There's no need to forgive me For thinkin' what I thought I loved you from the get go And I'll love you till I die I loved you on the Spanish Steps The day you said goodbye Well, I wished I was in Austin, mmm In the Chili Parlor Bar Drinkin' Mad Dog Margaritas And not carin' where you are
I was there in '95. What a beautiful scene. Thanks for showing us all how it's done! Cheers from Mpls!
