Heard this song this morning, freak'n love it! I first heard The Derailers about a year ago, immediately was impressed and feel in love with their music/sound only to be Derailed when I found out Tony wasn't a part of them anymore and that they don't tour. If they're still performing in Austin I'll travel to go hear them. Love their sound ❤️
The Derailers were so awesome Tony was the real deal great singer and songwriter I was lucky to see them so many times I wish he would consider recording some original Gospel music none of the contemporary worship junk but some good country or southern Gospel got to know him a bit over the Derailer years he was a great down to earth guy
I saw this band back in 2004 at the broken spoke. They were amazing. It was my birthday and the band gave me a derailers mug, “hardest working band in the music business”. They were so cool and hospitable. Thank you for the memories.
Man, they were so, so good in their prime. Got to see them a bunch on their swings through Oregon. My gawd those shows were fun. So goooood while it lasted...now it's gone.
I've seen them so may times. Now that Tony's gone, Brian is holding the band together. A class act, so many influences; particularly Buck Owens. They took from them and made a sound that Nashville feared as they'd raise the bar.
Tony Villanueva definitely does not play contemporary worship music or pop music, he plays traditional Gospel country music. He's done some recordings, but I'm not sure if the production is comparable to that of his days with The Derailers. Still, it would be great for him to release something as opposed to nothing.
Why isn't this song much bigger?I remember watching this years ago on PBS. Also that country twang guitar lead , well I been trying get that tone but hell I cant figure it all out, is it the tuning, the picking the scale? etc
Can't stop the A-Train baby!!!
💀
lmfao
Damn I miss the Old Derailers.... Tony was the man..

Brian has done a great job of keeping the Derailers together. Fans can see, hear and dance to them most Thursdays at the Broken Spoke in Austin.
We went a few times. He still rocks!
Channeling Buck Owens and Don Rich. This song is so beautifully done it chokes me up....
Tony V is the BEST!! Nobody can top him in this era!!
And Tony always reminded me of Faron Young!
Same here! Both great writers and singers. Except Tony looks different nowadays.
Tony is more well-behaved by a country mile!

I regret never seeing these boys in person!
This group gave me that Bakersfield sound feel and I'm a big Buck Owens fan, who in most their songs reminded me of !
Tony was the Derailers.
Yes and I know him personally and hes still a great singer !!!
Brian Klimas who's he playing with now. I heard he was going to be doing gospel...
They were great loved theirs sounds.

They're still going strong here in Austin!
CANT STOP THE A - TRAIN BABYYYYY
soul soothingly good.
CAN'T STOP THE A-TRAIN BABY!!
Nice. Something special about this very simple Americana music.
A class act. Brian's holding them together. So much influence yet they made their own sound.

Tony should never have left this band. He was the voice of the Derailers.
My favorite Derailers song.
Tony we want and need you back
Wish they would cut some more albums. They were fantastic.
This music really rolls on rails!
They had the sound
Soo many Texas country bands were gonna hit Big in the late 90’s and EARLY 00’s but stopped for some reason. Miss y’all
Nashville killed it but Texas Country still endures 😎
Ok Tony Villanueva or Raul Malo
2 of my favorites
YES YES AND ABSO-F'N-LUTELY YES 😂
WE MISS YOU TONY!!! :-(
Een fantastisch band

You know...I was thinking the samething! They are so good!
I miss Tony !
Derailers are good, but they really do miss Tony... just ain't the same
Can’t stop the A Train baby
Sing it Tony!
Hypnotic...
Steel sounds good on this song.
Tony reminds me of a young Bela Lugosi in the old horror movies.....He could mesmerize the maidens with those twitching eyebrows......
CANT STOP THE A TRAIN
nice!
I 'SO' miss Tony V. The Derailers were his back-up band and they know it.
Bad Ass
cant stop the a train
is this Austin City Limits performance available on DVD?
If it is, I'd get it.

Finally a real group not some pop star in tight jeans and a cowboy hat!
In honor of Stobe.
the band lost a lot when Tony left it--I don't it was ever the same
this fella looks a bit like Farron Young, and not a bad singer.
Sounds better with Tony and pedal steel!
