A collection of videos from trees I have climbed while working for a local residential tree service. Im not going to pretend that I'm perfect and dont make mistakes, and as such my videos reflect that.

Removing a tree with some interesting observers
This was certainly a first for me. I have never removed a tree that was both embedded in a fence, and in view of about a hundred dogs. Overall the tree wasn't too difficult, while it had a very limited drop zone overall it was fairly simple.

MONSTER pine with a HUGE drop zone
zhlédnutí 5KPřed 14 hodinami
This was a pretty chunky pine that we did about a year ago. luckily there was plenty of room to just bomb everything. Unfortunately there was a miss communication which resulted in me having to climb it twice.
How much easier can a tree be?
zhlédnutí 3,4KPřed dnem
This was the final pine at this job-site, and the easiest by far. I rigged down the branches that needed it, and then after bombing out a good sized top sent the wood all down into the yard.
Wobbly 95' sweet-gum over a service line
zhlédnutí 2,7KPřed dnem
This sweet-gum dropped a top a number of months ago, and hit the customers car and the crepe myrtle under it. It was a little interesting setting up my tie in and the rigging because it was not perfectly straight, but corkscrewed a bit.
No drop-zone is not a problem....
zhlédnutí 5KPřed 14 dny
This pine was pretty annoying. there was next to no drop-zone. Because of that we had to be very careful and meticulous in our rigging.
How to change climbing spikes.

A bit of a different video today, but I needed to change the gaffs on my climbing spikes, and figured that I would show how to do it.
(RAW) 8 easy but fun trees
zhlédnutí 4,1KPřed 21 dnem
The raw unedited video of some trees that were pretty simple, yet at the same time a fun change of pace from the typical big weird ones that I typically do. It was seven pine trees and a sweet gum
A nice start to the week by bombing (almost) everything
zhlédnutí 5KPřed 21 dnem
These two pines were a lot of fun despite the overcast that day. The customer was tired of the roots pushing the pavers, so the trees needed to go. They wanted about a 6 foot pole in order to carve a totem pole out of.
Removing a stone dead maple
zhlédnutí 3,7KPřed měsícem
This was the second tree of the day at this customers house. They were concerned that this tree would hit their pool, so they gave us a call to remove it.
MASSIVE gnarly pine
zhlédnutí 5KPřed měsícem
This was a pine from a few months ago, and while it wasn't the tallest pine that we have ever taken down, it was certainly a challenge. It was a complete tangle of limbs and leads, which proved to be a very interesting puzzle to unravel.

90' wobbly sweet-gum
zhlédnutí 3,9KPřed měsícem
This was a very straight forward tree, with one single exception. It was far more noodly then it should have been on the way up. Seeing how the tree had grown from the ground, and the proximity of a white oak, I decided to tie myself into the oak and then use that as my primary tie in.
(RAW) THICCC pin oak removed from a golf course
zhlédnutí 3,3KPřed měsícem
The raw unedited video of an oak that was one of the longer climbs that I have had. It was right next to a golf course, and as such we had onlookers all throughout the day. While it looked imposing at first it turned out to be a fairly straight forward removal.
(RAW) Two 100' pines over power lines
zhlédnutí 9KPřed měsícem
The raw and unedited video of the final two pines that we did at this customers house. We had to wait to do them because there was a service line that was in the way under the trees and as such we needed the local power company to come out and disconnect the power in order to be able to safely take down the trees.
(RAW) First day with a NEW ROPE
zhlédnutí 8KPřed měsícem
The raw unedited video of a job back in January when I first got my new climb line. It is a Sampson voyager I believe. These three pines had a pretty bad drop zone, and as such I had to get a little creative on the last and final one.

This is sloppy work ..
Fails ? I dont see any ?
I am a cynophobe ☠️
My brother is a machine I just hope nothing bad happens to him I do all the groundwork because I’m scared of heights and get shaky up there 😂 Seriously tho iv seen people nearly die 😢 ✌️❤️🌎
косорукие!
Liability insurance must be off the chain expensive!
That was an awesome start to a segment. Nice line throws. Quick work
Các bạn mặt đất làm quá chậm, Chúc các bạn nhiều sức khỏe
It's hard to predict you have to calculate the height the weight of the branch so much different s*** can go wrong.
Good job my friend
You needa go harder on those rope people shew…. Been there
Great video, but get a better crew. You are way better at this than the people you’re working for. They had 10 minutes to tell you not to climb down. Waste of clients time and humiliating and dangerous to have to single strap a limbless tree because of some dead already yellow grass lol. Buddy would have had to climb his chubby little ass up there himself. Also, what kind of boss doesnt understand that falling logs do way more damage than a full tree falling on a hinge😂
Awesome job brother
of course, the dogs were barking that's what they do with the guy in the tree. too bad it takes you all day to cut it down. adjusting your rope more than cutting you should watch the videos of the guys cutting down trees barefooted and no ropes tied to them. now that's something your viewers should be watching.
Wow thats a lot of dogs. Great job, that was a tight landing zone.
Thanks big guy.stay safe.
Good job as always. Enjoy watching you work. God bless stay safe. 🙏❤🙏
I bet they use ear plugs, not sure that would shut out that noise.
Omg ... I'm dying ... lol !!!
they was barking up at the wrong tree
Funny
😂 deveriam tirar os cachorros da área de trabalho ou morrem de tanto latir.
Plug boss grote klotsak
Who’s holding your robes near the end?
Those barking dogs would drive me nuts. Dang how may dogs are there. Had to watch this one with no sound. I love dogs but is just too much.
Only a minute and half in and already want to holler at the city of dogs lol
Thank you for making this
Great job. I learned throughout the years that trees can be somewhat vengeful when a guy with a saw enters the arena.
Love the videos your interaction in them now makes them that much better!!
Why so many joysticks 🤔
Awesome job
You deserve $2000.00 a tree. If you want excellent work then pay for it. These guys risk their life for you folks. I 💕 🙏 pray for their safety. We lost one. to a hidden hanging tree limb. R I P Jed Walker.. You. Will Be Missed! ❤ Love ya Randy. Be safe.
Good job 👍 Randy❤
Do they want to slow you down or get killedl
You have the worst ground crew ever
Gday mate, you did really great job well, not too many issues. The only thing I could observe from your short snips of each video, were you need to try and pull your saw out and put the chain break on sooner and try and move the saw safely out of the way a bit sooner. I also know in saying this that fatigue on your legs and arms can affect the consistency of these movements on doing this on the job up there. It certainly is a hard balance. Keep practicing safely and enjoy your time as an arborist. Kind regards
I don't see any women queuing up to do this job
What an ornery tree! I'm glad you kept the upper hand on it though.
Good job Tall guy. I love watching your videos. And that was a cool short repell there at the last. Stay safe. God bless.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤
I never was a professional, not by a long shot. But, I've taken down a few trees, starting at the top. I thought it was pretty scary, knowing that if I screwed up at all, it just might kill me. When the butt of that branch came back toward you, I relived doing the same thing, and felt my own butt puckering up. I never thought that I was scared of height, but a close call 30, 50, 70 feet off the ground sure makes you respect gravity!! I guess that's why I never really got into the business - just call me chicken, LOL!!
Looks like plenty of room for a bucket…..
Awesome job
