  • The raw unedited video of while waiting for my new rope do that I could continue using DRT I was left with the only option being to use SRT for these three pines. Lucky for me it ended up working out great, because I was able to simply throw my line into another tree and make descending while chunking down the trees a piece of cake.

I don't like how violently it comes off. I like that when I mid tie. It gradually loads the load line.

    What is a SRT?

SRT is Single Rope Technique. So that pretty much means that I move up and down the rope as opposed DRT or Dual Rope Technique where the rope moves while I move up and down it. There are advantages to both SRT and DRT, but one advantage that srt has is that it is very simple to toss the line into a neighboring tree and have the ground crew tie in on.

You must realy trust your ground people..been in buisness 6 years and can't find a decent laborer..let alone doing that...I see guys all over the internet have good help....even the large companies they are all foreigners...groing up in tree service back up north there was always quality American workers..my only great help is a 69 year old man who's in better shape then me and most people..he don't climb or rope so again it's been nightmare....
