Hi Fieldey.. I like your art work.. I was especially interested in the guitar art. I have had this idea to do an acrylic pour on a guitar... I d9nt really know anything about that kind of thing, so I have been watching CZcams videos to try and get some direction... from best type of paint to use to best clear coat that preferably dries really hard. I would appreciate any tips you are able to afford me. Thank you in advance, and keep making great videos 😊

I want to paint my guitar but I'm not using parts, i'm just using a guitar I bought some time ago, do I apply the gesso primer directly on the guitar, or do I have to do something before I apply it?

I love the art. However, I don't get why you think a rough clear coat is an appealing surface finish? Just asking.

Any experience with samples versus pints/quarts. Sherwin Williams said the samples do not have the same preservatives in the paint as the wall paint. 🤷🏻‍♀️ will that make a difference on an inside mural?

That's not a proper paint job, merely arts and crafts slop.

The most important part: if you go over graffiti or put some neo-liberal lgbt-anti-white messaging: graffiti kids are going to destroy your mural.

I just wear big a$$ headphones and tune out the audience lol

Hello there, I’m aware this is an old video (to that tho I’d like to ask how the shoes are holding up and how the beautiful design you put onto them is still beautiful?) but my original question was if the paints would last with the leather shoe cleaners I put on my (unimportant doc martens) I’ll look up more videos because I know you’re not too knowledgeable about this kind of topic which is completely fine (I’m not either if you can tell, lol) I just thought I’d ask.

Looks great!! But if you would water sand with 3000 grit it would take the texture from the brush strokes away and make tge surface smooth. Just some friendly advice, I promise I am only trying to help, you do an amazing job!!

I like this two part clear coat called 2k clear. It has a hardener in it like a spray gun mix, so you can go heavy with like 3 coats. With this artwork with paint strokes. I would spray 4 coats, let it fully cure a couple days. Then scuff the clear with a scotch brite pad, do 3-4 more coats, level sand with 600 gritt. and work up the sand paper grits to 3000. Get heavy cut auto compound, then do a regular cut compound. Then do a polish. Great work tho. That design is awesome
