    The elastic membrane analogy for a capacitor in an electrical circuit is genius. In most circuits it is hard to visualize that no current is actually flowing thru the cap, but there is still an energy exchange.

    I recall most generators produce AC power. These are called alternators mostly used in cars to charge the battery! Generators can also produce DC power. DC power how ever is usually produced by solar panels and stored in batteries! I also hear AC power is most commonly used in many countries including my homeland of the United States! Apparently many devices require DC power and can convert AC to DC themselves! 🤓 God I love the wonders of science and electricity!
