Hey, my name Jordin Machado (previously Grace), aspiring biologist and hopefully a future herptologist! I absolutely love sharing the things I learn about snakes, reptiles, and whatever else I come across. I am currently the owner of a small growing reptile business called Urban Dinos focused on making sure people can get healthy animals and know how to properly take care of them. In the future, I want to breed many different species and hold educational programs with some of the animals I have to help people realize these creatures can be stunning.

I have your cookie doughs hangry personality twin 😂😂😂. Love my little one to bits ❤. Really helped me watching your video of a food motivated hog. Do they ever grow out of it? My little one is only 5 months old. She’s a het albino. Haven’t settled on a name for her yet. She is getting better as long as it’s not feeding day! My little male has missed his last 2 meals. Hasn’t lost any weight yet, if he doesn’t eat today then I will be getting creative with his food. He’s the sweetest boy. My daughter wants to name him viper, but I call him Wilbur 😅❤.
She was the star of that video! We plan on making a few more. And yes! They do grow out of it once they are done with their growth spurts! It helps if you use scented sanitizer before handling and if you avoid using it during feeding too (in addition to tapping the enclosure with tongs before feeding and gently petting them before handling). Generally, they get a bit crazy because their body is using a lot of their energy and nutrients, so they are a bit hungrier than usual. We sometimes give them a little extra food when they get like that.

My daughter (6) desperately wants a hognose. I think the smol value is a huge part of that. I love how curious that little baby is. ❤️
The smol factor is definitely the best, in my opinion. Males would be great, since they tend to stay a lot smaller than females! ❤️
currently helping a friend that has a hognose and it has not eaten since they got it 2 months ago. at 10 grams and just hissing at food, I have bought reptilinks toad sausages and am syringe feeding a few meals every 3-4 days to try and get some nutrition in. I'm hoping to switch to mouse tails after that.

Awwww, thank you! That honestly means the world to me. My first hognose was honestly a rough story for another time, but he's part of the reason I try so hard to make sure our babies have the best chance to thrive in their new homes. ❤️

My Little dude was around 6 months when I got him and he still felt unbelievably tiny and smol.
They generally are pretty small until they get Thick enough to eat fuzzy mice. Age doesn't always translate to size, as it also depends on how soon they started eating after hatching, how consistently they ate, and of course, genetics. They all grow at their own pace.

Yes, they are striped supercondas! The stripe is a lot more common in super arctic supercondas, but there are other supercondas that also get the stripe. The first one is Gorgeous, a candy (toffeebelly Superconda) and the second one is Event Horizon, a Super Super (super arctic Superconda).
A luscistic hognose?
Nope! He's actually an Arctic Albinoconda, also called a "AAA" (triple A). :)

What a beautiful hognose, what morphs?
He is a 5 year old Arctic Albinoconda. Arctics often get more contrast every time they shed, so by this age, he is a super soft pastel yellow Albinoconda.
