Bakewell blondies anyone?! 😍🥰
Thick and gooey bakewell blondies with ground almonds, raspberry jam, and flaked almonds on top! Heaven in every bakewell bite. 😍
Recipe
■ 250 g unsalted butter (melted)
■ 125 g white granulated sugar
■ 125 g light brown sugar
■ 3 medium eggs
■ 1 tsp almond extract (optional)
■ 100 g ground almonds
■ 200 g plain flour
■ 1 tbsp cornflour
■ 200 g white chocolate chips
■ 250 g raspberry jam (or any other flavour!)
■ 50 g flaked almonds

These look gorgeous! Do you recommend using actual butter or is swapping it for baking block ok? I tend to use baking block for brownies because they have such a strong chocolate flavour but I’ve never tried it for a blondie.
I always use good quality unsalted butter for my blondies, and brownies. I'd imagine that baking block would affect both the texture and the taste.
@@KellyAnnDaviesI understand but Jane has previously said baking block is a good swap in some recipes and I don’t find a significant difference in brownies because of how strong the dark chocolate taste is. Just wondering about the blondie version
Baking butter or block butter works for a traybake such as a blondie!
Think I'd be tempted to eat one with a dollop of cream on top. 😋

Once I get a better oven will give these a go. Did the ones with Smarties/chocolate M&M’s before and they were nice despite my ovens best efforts to burn them at the recommended temperature!

Hi Jane did u say in the video that if the eggs weigh 252 g than u don’t want to use use 252 g so not sure what u mean ,as I thought if eggs are 252 g u would use same amount of flour sugar butter could u pls confirm this as I love ur recipes 😘🤗🙏
I always make a raspberry and chocolate cheesecake for my work friends but I use half digestive half ginger nuts for the base I also use mascarpone in the mixture it’s amazing

I would say without a doubt that this is the best lemon drizzle recipe I have used. I certainly won't entertain any other anymore. I do use more lemon zest and lemon juice.... but that's just me. Everyone loves it. Thanks Jane 😊😊

It’s cleaned daily, the scratches and marks are from being used every day for a couple of years, perfectly normal to be a little marked with this much use 🙂
