Please edit to let people know that the belt has to go behind the fan. Maybe men just know that, but being a female, I spent a couple of hours trying to get the belt like the diagram, but could not figure out how to get it around the lower rollers until I figured out I needed to put it behind the fan so I could make it through the lower wheels.

What could a person and a couple guys build this for. $$$$

I just bought a 22 350 srw single cab with the 6.2. I found one with 1460 miles that a guy bought for a tax write off. I wanted it instead of a 23 that would have a 6.8. The 6.2 is a proven engine.

Using that hook 🪝 is way to rough!! That skin is very thin and sensitive! You should use a Qtip.

This is a very sturdy and well built mower. I thought I wouldn't like the foot operated speed control but after one use czcams.com/users/postUgkxTZSPVwJFBv2hORqhQamtxi-tAe5K2EtC , I can't believe I ever had one without it. It drives like a car with an automatic transmission. Easy to adjust mowing speed according to grass depth/thickness. I have yet to get used to the long throw of the blade engagement lever but kind of get why it is that way. It allows you to hold mowing for short moments if you need. The engine seems very substantial and the frame has very little flex, both adding up to an impressive package. All my previous tractors were 18 to21 hp with 42in decks. This one is 23/46. I mow about 1.5 acres about every 5 days here in Alaska and that mowing time has been reduced by about 20%, partly due to the very tight turning radius. No loop arounds lol. Hour meter, cruise control, reverse mowing capability,deck cleanout and easy assembly all add up to a very well thought out tractor.

What a dummy. Use a screwdriver to open the clips that holds seat in place...their too flush. Your not supposed to mow wet grass...gonna ruin a spindle and break a belt. That's mowing 101 jethro.

I have one of these with the gas tank under the seat. The tank got brittle and cracked. It now leaks in about 6 places. I can not find a replacement tank. They do not make them or stock them. What to do?

This is the best method I have seen. I would even try this method and I own a strump grinder.

2023 - How many hours? Pro's and Con's?

I have a '15 model with 800 or more hours. I wish the deck would go one notch higher. Also, the plastic oil drain plug was junk. I replaced it with a 1/2" nipple with a valve. Easier and cleaner to drain the oil. The throttle likes to stick when going uphill. A couple of spindles died about 500 hours. Otherwise, it is a very reliable mower.

This shed is now close to 30,000 dollars 9 years later.
