It really depends on the year (amounts of snowfall can differ from year to year) but I was advised that January through March is typically the best times to visit La Rosiere.

Yes they did offer that, however I have a seafood allergy and the other choices that evening were just not really what I wanted. Believe me, over the course of the cruise I did not go hungry lol

Most cruise lines charge a single supplement, Oceania sometimes has single supplement offers on certain stateroom categories, however it wasn’t applicable for my sailing.

Thanks for watching! This cruise was the last week in May 2022. I personally did not use binoculars, but I would bring them if you have them. I have a pretty decent zoom lens for my DSLR which is just like using binoculars.

Hi there, I would double check the time you’re scheduled to dock in Hilo with NCL. My cruise was back in 2022 so docking times could have changed since then. I believe we docked around 8am and ship was cleared shortly thereafter.

Hi there! Not in the excursion I did, as the lava tunnels are in a certain part of the park where a large coach bus cannot reach. You would need to chat with the shore excursions team to see if they have a small group experience or book something independently.

At Lido Market (the buffet area) as teas, coffee and juices/flavoured waters available usually from 5:30am until quite a late at night. Regular water, tea and coffee is also available in the dining rooms at no charge. I hope this helps.

Thanks for watching! We only rented the car for the day, we picked it up in the morning and dropped it back off in the afternoon. Parking near the port is extremely limited, I’ve heard mixed things recently where you can actually park the car overnight. It’s best to speak with where you’re renting the car from as to where they suggest.

Thanks so much for watching, the restaurants I featured are some of my favourites that have been recommended by some of my friends who live in Rome and they frequent them with their own friends and family. Tonnarello is very popular now (along with many restaurants in Trastevere). Some of these places I have visited since my first visit to Rome back in 2017 and yes they are being visited by many more tourists than in the past.

@@WanderlustJourney, I live in Roma and can tell you that locals don’t go to a place like Tonnarello. Of course, maybe some locals went there before if it wasn’t crowded to see what the hype was about, but they are just serving ‘typical’ dishes even when they’re out of season. That’s why it’s not the kind of place a local would go to. So, while it may be popular amongst tourists, it’s not actually considered to be a good place by local standards.

Can you please recommend some restaurants that locals usually go to?

@@rbeiroisa, I’m assuming that you want recommendations on Italian food. It depends on where in the city you are of course, but a few of my favourites more central are: Pizza 1. L’Elementare for Roman style pizza 2. Seu Illuminati for Napolitano style pizza 3. Bonci for pizza al taglio and pizza e mortazza (panificio not pizzarium because it gets too crowded with tourists there) 4. Antico Forno Roscioli (also gets crowded with tourists, but good if you can get there early between breakfast and lunch) Osterias/Trattorias 1. Da Augusto 2. Il Giardino Romano 3. Eggs 4. Osteria Chiana 5. Romanè 6. Pro Loco Pinciano 7. Bella Napoli 8. Il Antico Falcone 9. Checchino 10. Armando al Pantheon 11. Luciano Little Splurge 1. Roscioli Salumeria e Cucina (it’s pricey because it’s touristy, but it’s very good quality; you don’t have to spend a lot, but if you really want the full experience, you’ll spend some money) 2. It depends on the pick up location of your tour so I would check with the tour company you booked with. If they will be picking you up at the terminal, it’s a two minute walk off the ship, however give yourself around 15 minutes walk if they will be picking you up near the mall entrance to the port in Kahului.
