- This is the last episode onboard the AmaWaterways AmaCello for our river cruise through Burgundy and Provence in the Rhone Valley in France.
We spent the morning on a tasting tour of Avignon, followed by a historical walking tour of Arles.

It seems like a lot to take in with Avignon and Arles on the same day along with a bus ride? Then leaving early the next morning! Not the relaxing river cruise I was expecting.
This itinerary was one the busiest river cruises I’ve done so far. There was still some relaxation and I did choose to do two excursions on most days, where some people only did one. I still really enjoyed the experience and there was some down time between the morning and afternoon excursions.
