i don't have a very big budget, so buying the models can be very complicated. So, i 3d print them. But i would like to play games with them, but since they don't come with their little information paper i don't know how good they are. So i was wondering if there was some sort of website where i could find what their stats are, and also if i could play with them at events or competitions with other people?

I've been very tempted to run Blackshields with the Pirates and Veterans Oaths and doing them up in Badab Era Astral Claws scheme. Especially with Solar Auxilia/Militia allies for a true Tyrant's Legion style force.

Let's consider the idea that the unmeintionable legions in terms on name being the 2nd and 11th could just be lost outside of the galaxy stranded or one is actually dead but who knows

Loved the review! Descent of Angels is actually my second favorite in the series so far after Horus Rising. I thought the Lion was great and the story was very captivating. Really liked seeing the origin story of the Primarch. I appreciate your take on the book and your help with the 40K backstory and lore! Great team and great videos!

I have a theory as to why the Emperor was happy with the Mechanicum worshipping Him as the Omnissiah but utterly hostile to any other expression of religion. It has to do with the nature of the Chaos Gods and a supposition of the Emperor's true ambition. What are the Chaos Gods? They are reflections and magnifications of emotion in the Warp. It's why Chaos worshippers have to commit progressively more extreme acts of worship to gain power; the Chaos Gods take the power of that act and give a small portion of it to their follower. The Emperor planned to sever humanity from the Warp for travel by using the Webway Project. Removing the emotional stimuli also explains why the Imperium was so xenophobic. Border disputes with rival sapient races or even recalcitrant branches of humanity would foster generational hatreds and would feed the Gods. As for the Mechanicum, they are removing their ability to feel any emotional stimuli altogether. As such, they would be theoretically incapable of feeding the Warp. That's proven to be less than perfect in Master of Mankind, but it's definitely a plan to create a branch of humanity that is inured, if not immune, to the Warp's influence. Basically, it seems that the Emperor planned to redefine the human experience by limiting or even removing the ability to feel emotion. Could such a plan work? It's Warhammer, so maybe. Would it be worth it? Definitely not, but it's Warhammer.

I think the premise of your argument is flawed. You have to accept that the concept of a god has any meaning or is a valid distinct concept beyond the "Not a god" tropes to accept that these entities aren't gods. The abrahamic gods also fit into these categories to many people.

Just finished the book, it was so freaking good! I was rooting for every single character in the squad. The relationships were unexpected in a book like this but I adored them as well :) I don't think I've ever cared so much about a tech adept. "I will see you again..." goosebumps. Praise the Omnissiah.

I love the assassin's in 30k-40k . Why do you think there isn't a prominent psychic ordo? Plus I love the Idea of an assassin that kills through either bureaucracy and or misinformation. Why risk making an enemy when having them hung by their own generals/congregation is much less disruptive.

Honestly hard agree on the deliberate "vagueness" of 40k. I love the flexibility of the setting. I really dislike when fans try to force a "canon" on a setting. Its limiting and not that interesting in the long run.
