Could you be able to do the same concept of putting in the turbo, without the conversion, I’m trying to use the kangoo engine 1.6 16v

Great Mini. Reminds me of my own Mini Countryman that we built in the early seventies. That also had a one-piece tailgate that lifted with Maxi Gas Struts and the wood trim of the Countryman. It only had a modified MG 1100 engine. It was a great car.

How did you wire up the air bag on the vxr seats and seat belt light .
I didn’t bother wiring them up pal. As the van didn’t have airbag wiring for the seats.
Loved the wheel arches, should scrub up nicely with a trick paint job!

I converted a ford escort van in 1978 to a pickup. The insurance man wasn't bothered about the conversion as it was still a commercial vehicle. I wanted to convert my Subaru legacy estate into a Ute . Before I did anything to it I went through the process of getting all the paperwork done . It was going to cost £400 and I couldn't be arsed . It comes down to points the body is classed as a chassis and if you change it your are fucked .

@@VannedUK US resident here. Our laws are significantly looser than in your country. I've been toying with the idea of something similar, with a full-size Transit. I want to use a short frame, and get ahold of a double cab with 4 swing-open doors. I want 4 bucket seats and two center consoles and a bed on the back. Four wheel drive.
