I am Lybban - But most people call me Fredrik. I create, build, covert and paint terrain and miniatures for wargames. Mostly Games Workshop games like Warhammer 40.000, Warhammer fantasy Battle, Age of Sigmar, Mordheim, Necromunda, Blood bowl and Kill team. I have been in the hobby since I was a little kid in the 80s and just never got out. Hopefully I will be able to inspire and teach a few tricks to both aspiring and experienced hobbyists. I hope you will enjoy this channel.

Great job! I picked up this same Lord of Battle mini and I am looking to paint him in a similar fashion. I think the turquoise is a cool way to get metals to look like sky reflections.

I want to build something similar but for my Warmaster dwarfs.
That is certainly possible. All printable terrain is scalable and the build would be smaller so just do it!

Im really tempted to buy this set. Looks great! What are the standard hight of the stone quay walls? The foam i have avaliable is 5cm. I wouldn't want to scale the walls to much!
It is 50mm so you are good. That is what i used. But all things 3d van be scaled to the exact height you want in the slicer

Blue toned water would have made it pop.
Yeah it might but i havent seen a blue river in real life so i went with the more natural option. Most rivers are like a dark or mid brown

The idea to just print a thin layer for the top most part of the cobble streat and then use foam is genius. Saved me so much time .

it's so good it looks like the original model design. the kitbashed parts sell it...even though they're from other kits they just look great because there's so many GW parts being used in a different way. very authentic but unique.

Well done. Rather awesome stuff there. I need to do some terrain for Warmaster so which such being 10mm I can take on your tips (but a lot less needed for such a smaller scale). No they are old games workshop hedges. They have a metal wite core so they can be bent into shape

Hello another great job I wanted to know what thickness of polystyrene do you use and what are the measurements for the stl files? did you modify their scales or simply cut them?
The polysturene is 50mm and i lowered the pavement tiles so they were just a mm thick and that fit right with the quay pieces

Thanks! I used anycubic I3 Megas but had a lot of issues with those. Now i have anyycubic vyper and its great.

For as much as I _do_ genuinely like this, I agree with your friend; if I was around it all of the time those roads would drive me crazy like a misaligned picture on the wall, albeit not so easily fixed.

Fantastic board. Could you please tell us what type of static grass you have used and if you have used a mixture of several?
Thanks!! I use several different ones. I buy them from model railway shops and hobbystores whenever i go to one so its never the same brand. The most important aspect is to get a really warm and lush green tobe to use as a last layer to get that nice fantasy vibe. Getting these online is a hassle as the colours on the website never ever match. I get it in store always
