Don’t know what’s happening but I’m invested

I've seen the thumbnail in my Recommended list for a while now. I thought to myself, "You know, I've never finished TMA properly, but I think I can watch this... actually, no. I want to complete the series before I do. It feels like it might have spoilers." So I did. I watched all 200 episodes in a week. Finished it about 20 minutes ago. And the first thing I do is come here, and finally watch this. Well. Let's just say that the waterworks I was holding back on finally came out haha. Amazing work, you nailed this piece of art perfectly.

Oh man I watched this when it first blew up and had no idea what TMA was about but I thought the video was cool. ANYWAYS I JUST FINISHED TMA FOR THE FIRST TIME like 10 minutes ago and my first order of business was to come back to this video and I'M SCREAMING. I thought the last episode of the actual podcast was devastating....well I vastly underestimated the stab to the heart that a 7 minute animatic could do to me also.The pacing of the song with the storyline is SO incredibly perfect I'm actually so impressed by how well the varying tones and impactful moments of song, story, and art line up. Anyways gonna go cry for awhile now. Amazing work

I don't know if this is deliberate but I noticed that the three times we see the power of the Eye represented in gold, not green, is when Jon is using his powers for something he's chosen rather than what Elias has manipulated him into and all three times it was also to find someone he cares about and done during moments where he's 'more human' and chasing his anchors. I dunno, I just found that and what it could imply interesting.
