I've heard a lot of bad things about the Luxor buffet, but it looks like there are some decent options in your video here. I'd probably give it a try. And yeah, you go get a coffee and couple of pastries somewhere and you are spending over $25 - so Adequate in this case sounds like a pretty good option. Thanks for the review!

I was a performer here in the 90's. I have some wild footage from backstage with Siegfried & Roy. Can't figure out the best way to share all that.

We are heartbroken at the loss of the Mirage. Many of our of favorite memories over the last 12 years are from the Mirage. We are praying they don’t change the Sportsbook or atrium. We only stayed once, but made a point of going back to spend time on every trip. When we were there for Thanksgiving and “The Game” in 2018, we made some of our best memories. We were never so appreciative of the Volcano for the warmth it provided, even across the street. It’s going to be tough to feel the same way about anything else.

How old are you? I love Vegas vacation. Watch it at least 6 times a month.

Just got back from a week stay at the Versailles Tower. Your review is spot on, especially about the shower shelf missing! I found the Internet sketchy and the TV worked only half the time, so I don’t know if that’s the same tech issue as the Internet, but it basically did not function. But it was a beautiful picture when it did! And resort fees are 56 bucks a night. I consider myself actually a horseshoe casino, hotel guest and not Paris guest. I used the horseshoe pool and gym. most importantly, if you stay in this tower, make sure you have a room with an odd number: because you definitely want to face the side with the Eiffel Tower and not the side that faces the nightclub at the Cromwell hotel that pounds music until the early morning hours.

I live here in Hollywood Fl. Where the other guitar hotel is. Hard Rock. Sometimes we do a Stay cay there. I even spent one of my birthdays there. I live 20 min away. Great skyline for our City.

I don’t care for Garth Brooks with his policies. I decided I’ll boycott him.

Jordan, great job documenting all of the Mirage’s venues, restaurants and pool area. It will be missed but can’t wait till Hard Rock opens it back up.

Excalibur is alot better the luxor the pool food n casino

I stayed at the Mirage quite a few times. Such a unique property with the volcano, the atrium, the aquarium, and the beautiful pool. We began staying at the Venetian but we still visited The Mirage on every trip.

Well done! My wife open the resort as a Dolphin tour guide and then cocktail waitress. In its day it was the best resort on the planet!

Ceasers Palace was the resort that changed everything. Read the book about Jay Sarno. That’s who Steve Wynn learned his vision from.

You think Mirage needed more work than Luxor or Excalibur

Thank you for this Video. I stayed at the Mirage 15 nights straight in June. Had the Panoramic corner Room on the 24th Floor with an awesome view at the Volcano. Been to the Pool almost every day. Very sad it's gone for good now. 😢

As a Mirage fan from opening day, this was very well done and a fitting closing for Lady Mirage. When MGM made the purchase in 2000 it maintained itself purely on reputation but eventually the lack of maintenance caught up and sadly we moved to other Wynn resorts. I’m not sure a big glass guitar will draw me in like the tropical Mirage but we still have Wynn/Encore.

You always do such a classy job with your production and as a sentimental dude also I found myself getting misty about ten times in this video…this was one of my favorite properties as my wife and I stayed here at the end its MGM cycle and I had never made it to Vegas until 2021…being from Ohio it always seemed so far away and it took me until I moved to Arizona in 2016 & met my wife in 2021 to actually get the itch to go with it being basically next door and really cheap to fly to and we began making trips to Vegas 5-6 times a year. Being a big fan of the Vacation movies this was on my list of must visit properties and we saw Love 3 times in 3 years and even got my Dad, a life long Beatles fanatic out here in May to see it before they shut down, a decision im so happy we made happen as he loved it and hes since rewatched the Making of Love Dvd I got him 5+ times. Seeing the father and son in the atrium, along with the cleaning staff just looking around solomly and finally you literally turning the lights out bit by bit truly hit me right in the feels…we are heading back to the Cosmopolitan Wednesday and I honestly dont think Ill be up to going past the empty mirage just yet…seeing it looking sad and torn up akin to the Tropocana just isn’t something I’m ready to see. Great video sir and keep up the good work as always!

The Mirage set a high bar that the Hard Rock won’t be able to touch… the Mirage was built on a dream and vision, the Hard Rock will be renovated purely for profit….

I miss Steve Wynn on the Wynn earnings calls, it was literally a master class he had so much passion for the customer experience and of course designing all the great hotel/casinos that he did. I have been going to Bellagio for 25 years since it opened and of course I visited Mirage and TI before that. Very well done video, let's hope that Hard Rock does a good job, and it it's anything like Hollywood, FL or Atlantic City it will be really nice.
