What did you do to get him better
Maybe he bites bc he feels imprisoned by hands. I thought, birds regardless the size DESPISE being held, enveloped inside one’s hands? Isn’t that why they’re taught to “Step-Up”?

I have a yellow parrotlet. She is skiddish and has moved from 3 different homes. So I am really new to the game. But she loves to fly through the house! Great progress!!!👍🏾

How do you make them eat healthy I tried to give them but they always running away I just waste money
Leave it in there til you see crumbs. I give them 2 nutriberries in the morning each and the rest pellets and then seeds as treat and millet once a week

Do budgies break open their pellets like they do the shell around the seeds ?

The shaking looks so violent when you first see it, but then you realize it’s how they get the food down their throats

We got a 9 months old parrotlet and he bits a lot ☹️
Grabbing the neck doesn't seem like a good idea.
Since my baby girl parrotlet die in winter she feel alone I try hard find male blue but no buddy has. So I play ur video to show her every time

It distracts the bird from biting, and teaches him to equate biting with a slightly unpleasant experience (in this case being a little off-balance). We used to gently hold their beaks and tell them "no bite." It's really your persistence with the training that teaches them. You have to be consistent.

It’s millet. And I’ve never met a bird that didn’t like it! Millet helped my cockatiel training go so much easier because it’s the 1 treat he never turns down!
