First time parents being very good with chick#1

Princess is 8 months old and Flit is 2 years old. They have never had chicks before, but are doing good so far. This chick is not even theirs biologically. Their clutch size was twice as big as pizza and pams, and 3 chicks, 2 from one and 2 from the other clutch ,were going to be born on same due dates, or within 12-24hrs. I didn't want them geting mixed up either,as to who was who's.
This will give Princess and Flit a chance to practice parenthood. They are being monitored carefully. So thankful I haven't had to step in to help outaide the artificial incubation that I did with the eggs to help them out. They weren't wanting to sit on the eggs. Flit was cracking and throwing them out the nest. So he was separated and finally reintroduced back yesterday after only daily visits together in his cage.
