I teach arms it a bit differently. Say we are doing a left side twist, I’ll have the left arm pull down near left part of chest, elbow in and the right arm pulling down and across the left side into the “pocket” or left hip area. I know there are many right ways and many wrong ways. This is how I achieved a triple myself. I own a new gym in the area, and my girls are just reaching doubles with my technique. I don’t want to fall into the trap of thinking I know everything. I have been coaching tumbling for 12 years and still learn new things. I am thinking of trying this technique out on a few students to test it though.

I am finding my strengths and also those areas that challenge. I like this game because it it not only entertaining but also a sensible way to workout my human brain.

I was spotting a back handspring and the girls thy hit me on the nose. That hurt.
I say to my kids a lot "tell yourself you're going to do it". I watched the movie the secret or something like that and I don't want to say it completely changed the way I think but it definitely has in some cases. It was all about basically good karma. If you put positivity out positivity will come back to you.
