Crazy thing about this album is it was basically never advertised on or after release. It gained a cult following almost exclusively through word of mouth. It was just that unique and good.

It would be amazing to hear you react to Zaireeka, the octophonic Flaming Lips album that is played on four CDs simultaneously. It's an incredibly immersive experience that feels like you are inside the songs. And it is different every time.because of the micro rhythms created by rhe slight variations in how the four CDs sync. Youll need some help to play it though!

This entire band is so freaking talented. Jacob ban on is probably my favourite hardcore vocalist of all time, and Ben Koller is an absolute machine of a drummer, too.

Heaven in her arms is probably the best or at least my favorite converge song. I think this is one of those bands that when they put out a record, its record of the year, easily. They innovate still. I don't think there are many that can compete with them. All we love we leave behind is probably there best next to this. i find xiu xiu to be on the right side of tolerable because largely throughout their discography jamie sings about other people, with the exception of some early stuff, so there's at least some degree of separation there. what i can't listen to for the life of me is lingua ignota, her music sounds like she's reliving horrible shit and putting it on tape

Have you ever listened to anything by Magma? They're a really interesting band that sort of created their own genre that some people describe as " prog-rock jazz fusion, alien military march," and I would tend to agree. I think either their debut album Kobaia, or my favorite, Udu Wudu would be a good first listen.

My brother in Christ, I pray you find your way to doing a reaction for New Moon sometime soon. A bunch of unreleased tracks, mostly from the self-titled and Either/Or sessions, a lot of which rival songs on those very albums. It's kind of a double album, but it's under 80 minutes and is sure to feature tracks you'll adore, much like many other Elliott releases. And then, on your own time, enjoy the Grand Mal bootleg, which features officially unreleased studio material that is some of the best work he's ever done. Sadly, it's too long of a "release" to do a reaction for. But tracks like Dancing on the Highway, Abused, and See You in Heaven are some of his best work. Hope you get to enjoy these tracks soon!

Finally some Converge reactions on CZcams. They aren’t talked about enough considering how legendary and influential they are. Glad to see someone young liking them especially just after hearing Concubine. This album is a phenomenal experience, it was fun experiencing it with you. Metalcore for the most part definitely stopped being good, minus the handful of old bands still doing their thing, in the late 2000s imo. Though there is a nice resurgence of bands like Knocked Loose continuing that old sound. Another legendary album to check out would be Botch - We Are The Romans or Misery Signals - Malice and the Magnum Heart.
