It seems you are addressing very experienced people, but for those who are interested, could you maybe give a quick definition of terms when you first use them. I'm not even sure when one would prefer to use a bitless bridle versus one with a bit or double-bit. Thanks in advance.

How to you slick up a boot for line dancing. Sometimes I dance at bars and they have very sticky floors. I prefer to have a very slick dance surface, not like walking on ice but pretty slick. I have tried a lor of different methods but none last very long.

a true hackamore reinsman gets a bosal large enough so it can float and not touch the jaw until you want to turn or stop. Everything revolves around the principle of bend. Trying to neck rein will confuse him and he will turn like the old movie horses with his head going away from the direction you want to go. All signals from you go to the nose. That's where he gets his direction. At least you trying to use a semi fiador. Good job on that. Modern people have done away with a fiador and let the it bounce on the chin which must really irritate the horse. Just get on and ride througoh the trees using both hands and pretty soon he will know what you want to do. Remember bend to a stop just like Clinton.

I prefer to have my horse come in to the middle with me once I’m done lunging, which my horse is very good at. However, anytime I attempt to change direction he wants to come in to the middle with me. So, I push him to the outside using the method you have shown here. However, I have encountered an issue with him not wanting to come to me once I’m finished because he thinks I’m going to push him back out again. I lower my head and shoulders, turn away, and tell him to slow down but he either keeps moving or stops and won’t come to me. How can I differentiate when I’m wanting him to move out/change directions and when I’m wanting him to stop?

My horse trotted and got faster and faster and then he went 😅awesome I love it ,but he did it on its own 😆. Now I can learn from you how to really go for a canter.

I’m trying to put some meat on my senior Arabs bones and I knew I’d find some helpful tips here!!! He lost some teeth over the last couple years and started dropping weight like crazy. We had him floated and adjusted his feed and he put the weight back on nicely but his top line is….non existent 😮 gonna start the back ups today! This guy is my Old Man in his late 20s but he is still the most reliable horse we have! Hard to believe I got him as a freebie in a buy one get one free deal. The owners said he was green so they didn’t need him. That old man rides better than either of my crazy mares with professional training 😂❤

Due to something gray being over your video, I could not see where you were holding the end of the tape. Are you holding it to the end of the hoof the bottom of the hawk or what because when I measured my horse who is 40 inches tall when she was born a measurement said 11 1/2 inches there’s no way she’s only going to grow 4 1/2 inches in the next year or so she was born at 40 inches so I am thinking because I don’t just believe you, that I could not see where you were holding the end of your tape. Please clarify, as there is a gray bar over that photo and

I just cleaned up my old circle y my dad bought in 1977 . It had a lot of white mold but with vinegar/water and brushes it looks much better ! I need to get some conditioner because I definitely want it to shine as much as possible! Thanks for the video !

Hey! Sorry, I know I'm quite a bit late, but I was wondering if you have any tips for restarting older horses. I've got two green horses --- one is 15 (Pintabian) and the other is around 26 (TWH). The Pintabian's going easy, she just needs time in the saddle. She is quite a bit buddy sour, though. However, the TWH is absolutely crazy. He was a parade horse and had a bad incident that left him head shy and buddy sour. He won't back up properly, loses his head all the time, and completely ignores me. He tries to run over me all of he time. Usually, my fix for this is either backing up or turning in a tight circle. Niether work on him. In the saddle, he's worse. He's not inherently dangerous, but it's gotten to the point where I do not want to train him. I'm considering selling him. He absolutely will not stop, and nothing I do seems to leave an impression on him. If you had any tips, that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
