Follow us on our trips and adventures, as a couple or occasionally with family. We love to cruise usually with Princess Cruises or P&O . Also we love to holiday in Croatia. Hopefully you will come along and enjoy our experiences as we have a lot planned in the future .
Back to Amsterdam onboard P&O Ventura ...Part 2
So after the excitement of watching England beat Holland in the Euros semi final , actually berthed in Amsterdam , it was time to head ashore .
We took in the sites , the Red light district , the Anne Frank House and Museum , and of course ended up on another canal cruise .
On returning to the ship we all got ready for formal evening , the plan being to meet in our room to take some photos on the balcony overlooking the cruise port .
We managed to get a table in the MDR, something we had been worried about because of the size of our group .Everyone in our party seemed to enjoy the meal and the children were well catered for .
We sailed away from Amsterdam later that evening , it made a nice change to leave port at night and see the city all lit up .
Our last full day onboard started with breakfast , then a little bit of packing which Pearl actually helped with .unfortunately i had hurt my back and was suffering a little bit . We then all met up at the covered pool area , I took the opportunity to have a bit of time in the hot tub before going to the Sauna to try and ease my back a little .The grandkids spent a bit of time in the pool before deciding it was far too cold for them , the water was actually freezing .
That evening we had another meal in the MDR before we headed to our usual spot the Havana lounge where we saw the group the Privateers , very good they were too .
Next morning we were up early to have breakfast before disembarking the ship in Southampton . So our family mini cruise was at an end , and going by everyone's reactions it seemed like it was a success

Love the video. Anyone can tell that you both love cruising and your enjoyment and natural-ness come across. Just booked a transatlantic on QM2 for next year and really can’t wait. Have seen other bloggers really down and criticise Cunard - such bloggers are getting a bit commercial (and annoying) I think. Hi what was the trip you did called?
If I remember our organised trip was cancelled because of lack of interest. As you get off the ship there is a kiosk with all the trips and prices. I think ours was like a half day tour of the island. You didn’t get a lot of time at each stop but it gave you a taste . ❤️🥂👋👋

Fantastic family vlog, looks like you all had a wonderful time. The cabin set ups look like a great way to make the most of the space. Looks like quite a few people stayed onboard to watch the football, probably for the best 😂 Was it on in multiple venues? We were on Aurora for the previous match and it was on in 4 different places.

Another great episode, loved looking around Amsterdam, it’s great for a wander and a canal boat ride. You all looked so glamorous on Celebration night, shame Pearl lost yet another pair of shoes and handbag, do you think she is deliberately sabotaging them to get some new stuff? 😂 Shame the pools were so cold for the kids, they need to put the heating on. Hi A&J , thank you , and yes the children were well behaved, it was Pearl that had to be told off .😂.We did our best for Celebration night , of course Pearl had to break something. Our son said Pearls friend had the shoes for twenty years and Pearl had them for twenty minutes 😂. My back is feeling better thank you , it’s a problem I was born with, and as you suffer as well Amanda then you know how debilitating it can be . We are on P&O Arvia at the moment, so you know what that means…. More videos 😱😱 . It would be great if the whole world saw them , then I would be raking it in . Those old videos were just filmed before we had any intentions of doing CZcams. We just put them on for a bit of content. They are awful but you have to start somewhere. Hi Teresa , so we boarded on the 9th July and our formal , gala , black tie , 😂 whatever they call it was on the 11th July . So it was on our second day in Amsterdam. We left Amsterdam in the evening which made a nice change . Seeing the city all lit up as we sailed out was great . Thanks for watching 👋👋❤️
