Hey haters I am a 70 year old singing drummer. Don Brewer one bad ass drummer, wrote and sang GFR"s only number 1 hit "we're an American band. Mark and Don split the band so more power to Don. Without Don the band was not the same but has rights to the name an songs. Farmer has his own band so what! It's the music that counts.

So Brewer is doing the same exact drum solo he did 50 years ago. That's sad.

Rip off artists, nothing more.

To think l play drums til this day because of this guy 40yrs ago / and now l see him and l think wow what a low down , selfish , unconscious, con artist he has become and if you look closely it shows on his old face = the look of '' injustice ''. I saw mark live when he found jesus,was still a great show,again after he came back to Cleveland, he was back ,but left the change out ,he was still grand funk without mel and don,one of my favorite live shows at the agora ballroom ,still a great performance, bring back mark,amen

I'm all about the music not the brand. I don't care what the band is called. But having said that, this simply does not capture the magic of how the three talents came together and became more than the sum of their parts. The funky taped up sound hole guitar tone in particular no one could reproduce today, not even Farner I think.

That's the Don Brewer Band. Great drummer you can't take that away but still agree, without Mark it ain't Grand Funk Railroad. Sorry.

There's no GFR, without Mark Farner. Bruce is nothing but a sideman. Just like with Kiss. Nothing but a scab. Mark Farner wrote more than 90% of the GFR catalog. He should put a cease and desist order on this cover band to not play any of the music that he wrote
