I think the Deku cycle counts as a sort of "bonus" cycle. I wouldn't count it, since it runs on a different clock than the other cycles.

Thanks for making this video, it saved me countless hours of trying to do it myself! Back in 2020 I had the same thought and started working on a walkthrough for completing it 100% in as few cycles as possible (while still having fun, lol). When I got to the old lady dilemma, here's what I wrote (and at that point also stopped trying to make this video happen): "All Night Mask, Bomb Mask, and Kaefi Quest. You can’t rescue the old lady and complete the Kaefi quest on the same cycle. You have to rescue the old lady to buy the All Night Mask. If I’m trying to do it in as few cycles as possible, how do I do it? You can’t get the All Night Mask on the first cycle because you need the Big Wallet, which takes a hookshot and Epona. You also can’t do the Kaefi Quest on the first cycle because it takes Epona. (One ridiculous option would be to get the bow, then fire arrows/powder keg before 6:00 PM, then Epona’s song, hookshot, on the first cycle to complete the Kaefi Quest.)" So glad to see that it was indeed possible, without having to do all that hard work myself!

7:22 My theory for what happened here (I'm 10 months late but whatever.) So basically, since there is a S M A L L height difference between the start of the bridge and the ground, Link slid down for a second and since Link can't hold an object while sliding, he dropped the Keg.

The powder keg looks like it was some classic N64 poor geometry, the angle you approached the bridge from counted as a steep slope like the rest of the island, so you dropped it to go into the sliding animation for a fraction of a second
