John Mitchum's most iconic poem, originally read by John Wayne on the album of the same title. When TV stations in many areas signed off for the night (before 24/7 TV), late-nighters were treated to a video of sights around the country with Wayne's recording. Here, read by one of America's most prolific actors, Robert Duvall (Lonesome Dove, Apocalypse Now, THX 1138) with "America, The Beautiful...

This is a great movie I miss the days movies like this come on 📺 tv for free
In the calmest voice "well let's see...say those horses belong to them there pilgrims huh" Cold as hell.
Very Beautiful!! Very Beautiful!!!!🇺🇲🎶❤️
Uncle Leo from seinfeld.
I’m just going to say it…. The outlaw Josey wales is the best western movie ever made
Definitely my favorite Clint movie
As a fan of Western movies and short episodes, this is my favorite Twilight Zone episode that flashes back to the old Western days. Look at Jared Garrity, portrayed by John Dehner, resurrect that adorable stray dog back to life. Awesome trick, Mr. Garrity. 👍
Fletcher= Hound Him Senator, A Man Like Wales Lives by the Feud, By What you did here today, Ive got to Kill That Man. Senator Jim Lane= Well he's gotta run for it now, an Hell is where he's headed. Fletcher= He will be waiting there for us Senator!
The role of Farwell is played by iconic character actor Oscar Beregi, who went on to play an unrepentant ex-Nazi in 'Deaths-Head Revisited'.
Bar None Best Western Ever. My Personal favorite. Clint is the Best Western actor. The Duke has Nothing on Clint
Farwell clearly didn't factor in inflation.
“Molasses in the wintertime.” So good. Wonder if it was in the novel.
What an odd episode, that was too easy to solve early. A bit of lazy writing, as the detectives couldn't be that clueless so early.
This is the perfect Western, the story, dialog, acting, casting, costumes, pacing, action, and cinemaphotography, all first rate. It's my second favorite Western of all time.
The guy holding the gun on him was Frank "Fatso" from Dirty Harry. Clint is always loyal to friends.
looks like killin pigs
JoseyWales good Missouri man
Don't pass down back and tell me it's rainin
Now...ease them pistols out. The rest is history.
Not always just probably my favorite Clint movie but you always keep looking for the one-liners from Chief Dan George
The Outlaw Josie Whales is still my favorite Eastwood film but the Unforgiven is right up there with it.
Stone Cold Clint. The Best.
An incredible legendary actor and director and and even better gentleman...Clint Eastwood is an Icon...God Bless him...
Most mean wanted dead or alive would not stand in a perfect silhouette in a door frame. It’s a survival thing. Still one of my all time favorite movies.
Great scene but, the interaction with Ten Bears is my favorite.
Hey he didn’t move like molasses in winter time. No fair pilgrims
Very dark, hard to see anything. Josey/Clint knew that poor Indian woman was being violated and had the nice excuse to ,"discuss business" to interrupt their plans. And got some horses out of the deal. And his legend growssss 🎉
Hell Comes In
The villains in Eastwood westerns were always outstandingly creepy.
“ i got the gold Josey “ !!!! What gold ??
When I was teaching about viscosity of liquids in science class, I loved using the molasses in winter time line to represent a liquid flowing slowly.
AN ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE
That was the greatest scene ever, right up until the next scene of The Outlaw Josey Wales.
Ive always felt that outlaw josie wales was clint Eastwoods best western ever, but things happen different on judgement day at the academy awards
Clint Eastwood,.... always the best.
One of my all time favourites!
I like the scene where Josey is being shot at, and takes cover - inside a covered wagon (with the protective qualities of cloth)! Possibly the silliest shoot-out scene ever.
Stop messing with the fantasy you buzz kill.
The Best western
Yeah, just the most badass dudes ever. Clint will live forever
Too dark. Can’t see a thing. Might as well be audio only.
We just want Freedom Leave us alone!!
Fuck them assholes ...
I have watched this scene over and over for years and years. And I will continue to watch it as long as I live. Pilgrims. Hah!
This Film should have won him his First Oscar. 1976 had very tough variety of competition for epic Films such as Rocky and Others.
He spits to his right. Hits the guy on his left.
I reckon so…..
Outlaw Jose Wales best movie ever!
It's not going to end well.
Them there pilgrims, classic
