America, Why I Love Her

John Mitchum's most iconic poem, originally read by John Wayne on the album of the same title. When TV stations in many areas signed off for the night (before 24/7 TV), late-nighters were treated to a video of sights around the country with Wayne's recording.
Here, read by one of America's most prolific actors, Robert Duvall (Lonesome Dove, Apocalypse Now, THX 1138) with "America, The Beautiful" performed by The Sons of the Pioneers.
