Thank you 🥰🥰🥰
Some words of encouragement! Im 12 and i am currently running a small business like selling glass bead bracelets and rings. The only ways i plan on selling are either buying a space at a flea market or walking ariund at events selling. I love what you do and you just got yourself a new sub!! 🌸🌸
Oh thank you!! I love young entrepreneurs! I tried so many business ideas when I was younger but never managed to pull anything off 😂 wish I’d found polymer clay sooner! I hope your business is going well and all your new financial year business dreams come true! ❤️
Hi, thank you so much for this video. Where can we buy the block cutter please. ❤
My pleasure! It is on our website www.myclayco.com.au 😊
Thank you ❤
You're welcome 😊❤️
Beautiful 😍
Thank you 🥰
The expensive Loctite says it’s supposed to work for flexibility. So, if you were repairing something that would flex or receive an impact (they showed gluing a seam on a soccer ball) it might be worth the extra money. Otherwise, it does more than you need for an earring.
Polymer clay does actually flex (it’s not rigid like most other clays) so that may be why it works so well! 😊
Absoloutely stunning! I’ve just placed a big order with so many of those cutters and cannot WAIT to use them. Thankyou so much for just doing what you do. You guys are so inspiring. ❤❤❤
Aww thank you for the lovely comment! 🥰 We love polymer clay and teaching so it is our pleasure! Thanks so much for your order, I hope you love everything! ❤️❤️
@@myclayco no worries! I’m 100% sure that I’ll have the best time with them 😊
The color ❤️💛💙 is Romania flag🇦🇩🇦🇩🇦🇩🇦🇩
So it is! What a pretty rainbow the flag colours make ❤️🌈
Gorgeous ❤❤❤
Thanks so much ❤️
❤ lovely 🌹
Thank you 🥰
The color blending is beautiful. I really love the the finished earrings.
Thank you so much ❤️ Yes, I always love the skinner blend technique!
Hello thanks so much for your tips! I’m very new at clay working and are currently using air dry! My question is can you use your oven that you cook food in or does it need a separate oven? Tia
Hello! My pleasure! Polymer clay is non-toxic so it can be baked in your normal oven that you cook in. Obviously you want to avoid burning your clay, but if you accidentally did you should clean your oven before cooking in it again. Some artists prefer a seperate oven but we use our normal oven 😊
Great idea! Do you ship to Europe too?
Yep! We ship worldwide ☺️🌏
Beautiful!!! ❤❤❤
Thank you! 🥰🌈

Hey Ladies What Colour Clay Would You Use For A Pale Coloured Transfer Thank You 💕💕💕
Hey Kerry! ❤️ I would probably normally go white so the transfer can shine as much as possible, but if you want some colour to it I sometimes just mix in a dash of a clay colour to tint the white a little 😊
So cute
No
Thank you 🥰🥰
Soooo cute you should Start making your own and selling them cuz i will buy them❤❤❤❤
Naw thank you! 🥰 We would love to but making our cutters and supplies keeps us very busy! Maybe one day, but at least we still get to make for product testing and content ☺️
Saw him immediately but then again, I used to work for the Mouse.
Hehe you would know him well then!
Ugh I saw this video a few days ago & I FINALLY got all the right tools for it today & I've been at it for hours now & can't seem to get the ball tool to glide smoothly around the clay like yours does. My clay keeps sticking to the tool & just dragging. So I used a bit of cornstarch on the ball which worked PERFECTLY, but then the clay was too dried out to stick inside each petal & when I used the dotting tool, it won't let go of the petal🤦🏻♀️
Hmmm I’m wondering if your clay is too warm or soft. What brand is the clay? Do you live/work in a hot or humid place?
@@myclayco well it's actually just like a regular kind I got off Amazon & it has been very hot & humid outside but when I work with clay, I always have my air conditioner on in my work space
@@myclayco I have been watching ALL of your videos & learning so much...I've recently started a small business & your channel has been incredibly helpful for me🥰
Where did you get the little tray that fits perfectly under the machine? Genius.

Yes! Definite Summer vibes ☀️
This was great!

Do you need something like an extractor hood for toxic odors with polymer clay or can it just be baked in an oven in the kitchen and does the resin also smell strong/toxic?
Polymer clay is non-toxic so you don’t need anything (just don’t burn it or you will need to clean your oven!). Before curing, resin definitely does have toxic vapours though so you need to wear safety gear and work in a well ventilated area (we recently released a video on it if you want to check it out 😊)
@@myclayco Thank you so much for your answer and information 😍
I have 2 pasta machines. One for white only
Such a good idea!
Brilliant!!
Honestly…. Take your buffers off the machine… then you can clean it right to the back rollers so you don’t have that terror!
Haha yes, it’s on my to do list!
Very relatable! Today I received a big block of translucent white clay and it's still in its wrapping as my pasta machine is minging x
Haha oh yes! I know that feeling 😂x
And then there’s every speck of lint in your house or on your clothes as well. And don’t even get me started on the tiny little invisible (until you’re using white clay or any light clay) hairs my huge Czech Shepherd throws out no matter how much I clean.😑 Good thing I love that big goofball!😂❤
Oh I feel you! I have a cat at home and even when I’m at the studio her cat fluff seems to follow me! 😅
Hi! Have you ever tried a nail stamp with pigmented polish?
No, I haven’t! Will have to check out mail stamps and see what they’re about!
This is so relatable. 😂
Haha yes, if you’re a clayer you understand 😂😂
I may be doing the most, but it I have an extra ma home just for white clay 😂. When I first started making earrings my white clay would always get other clay on it no matter how much I cleaned my machine 😫
That is such a good idea. We have two in the studio so need to implement this!!
Thank you so much for this video. I am just starting out using polymer clay as a new hobby and I think that you girls are so helpful and generous with your time. Thank you again.
Aww thank you! 🥰 It is our pleasure, we love polymer clay and love teaching 😊
the back of a small teaspoon can replace the proper ball tools.
That’s a great suggestion for an at home solution 😊 Good thinking!
Like the scrap hack ❤ 👍
Glad we could help! ☺️
I have a question, what about tapes like those book repair tapes for archival purposes? I'm making color recipe clay swatches, the problem is i don't want to store them the way other people do with all of them splayed out in binder folders or stuck to papers because i want to archive every single color i ever make as well as having the freedom to move them around so i always know what colors go into making that color and i never have to guess again how to mix-up that color, doing that though would make a lot of colors and i don't want to collect binders because i'll end up with too many..... Instead i want to line them up Infront of each other in a box with a homemade divider to keep them in place, the problem is the label sticker i want to put behind them with their color name, the pen ink i use to write on them will transfer onto the fronts of the clay colors, and i cant wash them off or alcohol it off, so i wanted to use clear archival tapes over the pen writing to protect the clay swatches, but i don't know if they'll react with the clays because they said they're a solvent based adhesive, something called acrylic resin solvent. I'm getting sick of searching for more alternatives because everywhere i turn there's something annoying getting in the way of me storing my color recipes this way >.> Originally i just wanted to place a white label on the back of them and writing the color names on the labels and just being done with it, but then the stupid pen ink transfers even after weeks of it drying on the labels not touching anything, now i thought clear tape, but now i'm worried about solvent sticky bits coming on to the clays....
I’m not too familiar with book repair tapes but my suggestion would be to check the components to see if they are oven safe. Washi tape works well because the top is paper based so can be baked at the lower temperatures of curing clay. As for your colour swatches, I’ve also seen ceramicists thread all their swatches onto large metal hoops like a set of keys on a keychain. If you’re worried about ink transferring to clay fronts, you could coat your label backs with a uv resin dome to seal it 😊 hope this helps in finding a solution to your swatching!
Wow, so helpful! I’ll definitely have to watch again! I need to rearrange my space a bit! Thank you! 😊💖🌸
Happy to pass on what we have learnt over the years 🥰 so glad it was helpful!
I am a typical overwhelmed polymer clay beginner who has no space and no natural light but a lot of ideas...thank you very much for all of your tips. It was very helpful to me...and I better plan a trip to Bunnings...☺️
So glad we could help! Just remember - vertical space is your best friend in small spaces 😊 I feel like I’m at Bunnings every weekend 😂
I have a ring light it works fine
Hey Ladies Great Video Can I Ask Where Do You Get Peg Boards From Please & Thank You 💕💕
Thank you ☺️ Our large pegboard that we show in the video was purchased through Costway Australia (Costway also sell these through Bunnings marketplace). Smaller ones that I have at home though are from Kmart and ikea 😊 They’re pretty easy to get, it all depends on the colour and size you want/need for your space
Love this. Question(s) for you - Could you (unless I’ve missed it in one of your videos) do a video on your clay cutters? Do you design & print them yourselves? If you do make your own are there any tips/tricks or machine preferences? Or if you don’t, do you outsource from another artist?
We are actually polymer clay cutter makers and that is the main part of our business 😊 We use Prusa machines and love them! My best advice if you’re looking at getting into 3d printing is to get a kit and build it so you know how everything works and how to pull it apart for maintenance and fixing. If you are into technology and problem solving it is such a fun thing to get into - our printers drive me crazy some days but I love being able to design and print our own creations!
@@myclayco Awesome, thank you! I have an Ender 3 and I’ve surely had my struggles with it. I did build it so at least I’m on the right track! 😆 I’ve just been wondering what professional businesses use so I can make better quality products. I appreciate all your help!
@@emschrader418 oh sorry! I didn't realise you'd already gotten into it! Honestly I have seen other businesses with enders create the same quality cutters as us so it is totally doable! The tricky part is getting your settings right (both software and hardware). The other tricky thing is that all printers are different so I know that even with all of our printers I have to individually dial in the settings (phew!). So if you're not quite happy with your cutter quality, just try a few different things and see what the results are and hopefully you land on the perfect settings!
@@myclayco Oh it’s no problem. 😉 I’ve just been struggling a bit on getting things perfect. It’s such a tricky (for me) process!
@@emschrader418 Oh, don't worry, it's not just you! I think setting up, maintaining and fixing our printers is still the toughest part of running MyClayCo for me - lucky I love problem solving but geez, some days I'm ready to pop them in the bin 🤣
I love your content. Always do helpful, to the point and educational
