Cosmic Reach Fan Song - Not Home
I deviated a little bit from the C418 style with this one (I think), so I'd like to hear what you think about it! Also, I've never used as much automation in any song, as in this one.
My personal little story for this is, that you're wandering all alone on an alien planet with seemingly no life at first. And then in the distance, you glance at a little light. You start going to towards it, and you realize, that you were wrong. The planet is full of life afterall in a centralised city, where everyone lives. You get to chill in there for a few days after the tiring exploring.
I like to imagine aliens to be kind rather than hostile to humans, so I think this song fits well for my ideology.

I tried to make this song fit creative mode more. Idk if this song could play during normal gameplay, or if it should be a music disc. Either way, I think it came out great. This song also takes some very obvious inspiration from the music disc, Strad made by C418

This one is a bit more experimental. I just started using a cool new plugin that allows me to bitcrush the audio of any instrument I have. So far I've been having fun with it. Also, this video is in 4:3 since I didn't want the image to be cropped.

My game crashes when trying to load up this level. it doesn't happen with any other level. am i just downloading the wrong file?
Did you insert the required .pc file into your game's folder? If you didn't, the game will constantly crash when you try to start the level. In order to do that, you have to: - Download and extract the level from the .zip file - There are 3 files you just have extracted, you should ctr+x the one, that ends with .pc - Now you have to open Steam, search Thumper, click on the gear icon to the left, go on "Manage" and then on "Browse local files". File explorer should now show you the game's files - Go into the "cache" folder and ctr+v your file in there Now check if your game doesn't crash when you try to start the level. I hope this helps ^_^

The modding tool has a folder called "Levels", you can put them in there.

I think this hammers home the exact theming for the game, and would make fantastic trailer music (for full release or late beta). It preserves the c418 feel while going a differing direction, with the "wider"/open feel compared to the tracks minecraft often uses.
