If I run a corexy printer but with quad motors on the gantry, should I divide the Torque Required by 2? Or should I divide it by 4 as it will be 4 motors trying to overcome the torque?

Aluminum screws are lighter than titanium. Maybe a slight bit more weight reduction is possible by switching to what is often marketed as duraluminum (aluminum 7075) screws which are very common in rc vehicle hobby spaces in the m3 size.

I was slowly purchasing parts to build 'The 100', then a high speed version came up for sale on Facebook Marketplace for $100. Less than 1 hour printing. The guy never finished dialing it in due to he had the wrong settings to home. Fixed that now to dial it it but damn the first test XYZ cube was done in 4 minutes, looked like crap but the belts were super loose. I was amazed how fast it was moving. Now to dial it in and get printing!

Good video man. Thanks for sharing. The math are good but rarely I trust the manufacturers specs or the specs on ali. Testing them is the only way I can be sure :)

really nice build! i like it to go as cheap as posible but has also quality as much as possible i think of a Voron 0.2 and your build and its over engineering i love it to go so cheap! maybe i print it at my home in ABS or PETG or PA12 to enclose it with acryl for high temp materials like abs << :) thanks so much for all

Anyone have any thoughts what one might look for in a stepper motor for a bmg extruder. I am thinking with the gear ratio a faster motor makes sense.

Hey Matt, I decided to build myself one of these. I already have all the parts for the toolhead printed and bought, but in this video you say to NOT to use the CHC vulcano nozzle, yet link in BOM table gets me to aliexpress page with the "longer" nozzle, that i unfortunately bough 3 pieces of :D I think the seller on aliexpress either purposely changed the product or there could be a mistake in BOM. It would much appreciated if you could point me in the right direction as I have no previous experience with this

Thank you very very much! I upgraded my old Printer to 24V and changed the steppers based on your explanation and the excel sheet. The result is crazy. I were able to increase the acceleration from around 3000 to 20000 and reached the end of my Nozzle flow very fast. It is like I have installed a rocket to the printer. The part cooling is now also to weak. Thanks, I had a lot fun upgrading it.

I will just wait for the kit . Hopefully someone on aliexpress sell the kit.

lube info isn't explicit anywhere in text or video, but looks like super lube 21030 multi-purpose grease. But it might be 92003 silicone grease?
