We are Paul and Barb and this channel documents our various travels around the world.
Generally these trips are on cruise ships, but not always.
We started out taking mostly photos and putting them into slide shows that we shared with friends and family. Eventually, we began to incorporate more videos, cuz it is way more interesting. Now we are doing more video and less static photos in the mix. Hopefully you will find the mix about right.
While we strive to be travelers not just tourists, we are not always successful.
Hope these videos encourage you to get out there and explore the world. Strive to become a traveler.

Grand Americas Quest: Uruguay
In this video we begin our journey north after we leave the Falkland Islands. Here we stop at two ports in Uruguay as we continue our trip sailing along the eastern coast of South America.

After 21 cruises we never get bored with at sea days. We have been to every port in the Caribbean at least 8-10 times and rarely get off in any ports now. There are so many things to do at sea and you really get to relax. Going on another at the end of this month and another in November, cruises are the best vacation !! I have even wished they offered 10-14 days cruises to nowhere ...

We'd recommend that if you visit The Gambia whether on a tour or independently, try to go out into the countryside away from Banjul. The people are friendly and you'll get a better sense of the country. Banjul is not representative of The Gambia.

Yes, we were able to bring back bottles. No up charge or corkage fee to have wine purchased off the ship with our meals on the ship.
