"no human being should hunt this way". why not kill it and cook it at the same time, save some steps. lol i think that may be the first time ive seen a 1 skull sabretooth. this videos tip, since much of the time the meteors are high up on cliffsides and sometimes hard to get to, harvest a tree and a couple stones and just drop a foundation or 2 in the side of the cliffs to give some stopping points for climbing.

most of the recipes you learn from the library are pretty useless, but a few are nice, fast elevators if you use them in your build, the kiln is apparently pretty nice, but the most important one is the tablet of power to help you get knowledge poits quicker from consuning the fragments, you get 10 per fragment by eating 1 at a time, if you learn the tablet you convert 5 fragments into 60 points so 12 per fragment. there are 30 recipes you can learn from the library and they pop up in random order, my current playthru i learned the tablet one within the first 3 i think it was second, but i spammed them and didnt see. after learning that one i would covert all to tablets untill you learn all you need before going after more of the library recipes.

There is a way to reroll your thralls perks. If you go down the sorcerer path you can create a potion of Rebirth.

you can grow other plants with normal compost, but for lotus you need potent compost, so blood from pressing heads or carcasses or human flesh in the fluid press and raw ash put both in your compost heap to convert normal compost into potent type. i generally only use that to grow grey lotus, since you can harvest other types around the map pretty much any time in large amounts, but grey lotus you only get from drops it doesnt grow anywhere. if you only have flowers and not enough seeds you can dry the flowers on the drying rack, 3 flowers gets 1 seed, 1 seed grows 5 flowers, so after a few it ramps up and up. altho it now drops alot more of the grey seeds and flowers than it used to.

easiest purge base would be a more flat rectangle, with the outer walls built up 2 high with no stairs to path up to them for archers to shoot down from, 1 door in with maybe an extension out slightly wider to start to bottle neck them in, and a zig zagging path back and forth in the open middle area done with fences, with a door here and there along the path, with the coffer in a room at the back. try and learn and make noxious gas arrows, specialist ammunition 2 or 3 i think, will need 3 for explosive arrows anyway to crack star metal shells for gathering it with hardened steel or better tools. making the arrows each gas orb you make converts into i think 15 arrows which each do the same job as 1 orb, but can shoot them further and more accurately. also you might make 1 spot that makes it easier for you to get up and down but they wont path up, so a building trick here, if you build a foundation and put a wall on it, then put another foundation next to the wall you can choose to either build at same level as the first foundation, OR take it a 1/4 step up, so do that twice for basically a half height foundation, and delete the 1/4 height one, this gives you a spot to jump up on that they cant walk up and you can then jump again to the higher archer spot walls to shoot your gas arrows from and poison any groups either in the center or along the path from their base to yours. if you leave the 1/4 and the 1/2 height next to each other they will be able to path up it like stairs.

The telaporters are the top tier of sorcery spells, and you need more than one of them to work. The further you travel, the more corruption you gain. And barkeeps make poor followers, their stats don’t increase each level.

i have no idea about what's wrong with your building some weird bug i haven't encountered apparently. with the transportation stone you learn that by learning sorcery, it will be the last spell you learn, need at least 2 to link to use it, so can build 2 or several at certain parts around the map for direct back and forth travel, BUT you get corruption from it, and the further the travel the more you get, so kind of need a dancer at each spot to cleanse you.

nice you made it to the library, and found where to make the map room from. the shelf to the archivists left is where you can turn in fragments of power by clicking on it, i always start off turning them all in until i get the scroll to teach tablet of power, so for every 5 fragments i use i get 60 knowledge points rather than 50 eating them 1 at a time. eventually you may want to learn all 30 items from the library but most aren't that useful. when i teleport in and want to do a boss loop, starting from the obelisk, i do the commander in the slave pits, which you fought, then i head west of there and a bit north to find the brute by the outer gate, then head south to the red mother, then go south and west behind the red mothers enclosure, close to the outer wall you will find the wanderer, a blue ghostly wight, from there i head back the way i came and keep going east past the big alien guy in the center to find the aviary and the white bat. all these drop fragments and a legendary item. there are a couple more but i rarely do them just 2 more versions of the commander from the slave pits with the same loot table. the others will get you 5 fragments per round and you can loop thru several times till you learn the tablet of power and then start crafting tablets to eat to get your knowledge up, you learn the items in random order, the last time i learned the tablet at scroll 8, previously i had learned it at 17 and 23 at least when i kept track. oh and for purges one of the best things to learn is making noxious gas arrows, shoot a few along the path they take from their camp to yours so they all run thruy the poison 2 or 3 times before they even make it to your defenses, so each is like 1/4 - 1/2 dead by the time they get there.

There was a bookcase in the maproom, to trade shards of power for scrolls. Scrolls of knowledge. Or you can eat them.

Seems like a Colosseum type building with no ceilings and archer towers further from the front gate (so they can get an angle) might work better.

Unfortunately the crouch-walk is not actually a sneak, it just means you won’t fall off a ledge while doing it.

You could have used you key in the spiders cave. You missed the chest that was around her platform. It would take your key but it has legendary stuff (varies).

You can choose what type of arrows your follower will use by selecting the arrow, then the bow. The little icon next to the bow should change. I believe the difference between Archers and Fighters is an invisible damage multipler, Archers generally have a higher range modifier than their melee modifier.

there are several of the relic hunter 1 skull bosses around the city, if you are farming in there very long you can go find 1 and kill it a eat the heart of a hero to get rid of any built up corruption, if you go north from where the alien guy was you should find the obelisk and a doorway into the library where you can talk to the archivist and learn the maproom, as well as a scroll shelf beside him you can bring fragments of power to turn in to learn recipes, not all but many of the un named city bosses will drop a legendary item as well as a fragment of power, you can use them at the shelf to learn 1 of 30 recipes in the library, or eat it to gain 10 knowledge points, or what i do is take all i get at first to the library untill you learn the recipe for tablet of power, which lets you combine 5 fragments into 1 tablet which when consumed gives 60 knowledge, so an extra fragments worth, collect enough and you can learn all, tho basic religions it is still best to find the teachers rather than 50 points to learn it. the bosses you are looking for would be the commander at the slave pits west of the obelisk, the brute beside that northwest gate you were at, south of there will be the red mother dragon, behind and south around the outer wall will be the wanderer a boss blue wight guy, from there run east to the other side of the citadel to find the aviary and there is a bat demon, a little north and east of that is another version of the commander along with about 16 skelitons if you feel like fighting them all, and there is 1 other on top of one of the structures looking down on where the red mother is, just yet another version of the commander, if you feel like climbing up. there is the snake inside the citadel and several other dragons but none really drop anything but not sure they may drop a skeliton key for dungeon chests if harvested, didnt used to but i havent checked since early on.

they just added back the headhunter event yesterday, so an easy way to get good thralls, there will now be Kitahn caravans at different spots around the map, one of the best to go to is at the sinkhole, there is a camp with 3 sorcerers on the southeast side of the sinkhole platue, kill the first 2 and knock the 3rd out, hop on your horse and turn in the sorcerer at the cart and the skulls from the first 2 in the pot, then thugra's rise just north of the caravan has 2 sorcerers and close so knock both out and turn them in, and the small camp south of the caravan has 1 sorcerer to knock out as well, hit all those and on single player you can then repeat and in no time you will have lots of obolus to buy thralls with, the fighters you can get are dalinsa snow hunter, janos, markos bane of beasts, varpnir, and maybe 1 other, the best of these would be Dalinsia, but Janos isnt bad eithr he is a clone of Lian with different hair. the others are decent but not as good, markos seems to take alot longer than the others to level and he doesnt turn out quite as good. but hopefully you can get a dalinsia or 2 in the first couple of tries. any should be better than tier 3s and lowwer map named ones at least. 2000+ hp at lvl 0

once you can get the materials to make that silent legion armor especially the redeemed version if you have a tier 4 armorer each piece gives 2 bars of both heat and cold protection instead of the standard 1, without a good armorer, you only can make either a cold set or a heat set. so should keep you just under heatstroke, if you want to go in without bring a couple stacks of ice and eat a few pieces periodically. nice job on beating Tellith this time thru. some armors are better for heat or cold tho, i havent seen anything exact or confirming, but i think 1 set might have something like .8 for heat and 1.2 for cold per piece and rounds both to show 1 bar, while another set may be reversed or 1.1 and .9. the kambuchan shaman set seems to be a decent low lvl set for cold, while i think the stygian set might be better for heat and bad with cold.

Eating ice will cool you down faster than drinking water. Thralls no longer die when they step on lava (but you will). The silent legion armour provides twice the hot/cold insulation than most armour. If you have a named armourer they can make the Redeemed legion armour, which is an upgrade. Nice base.

The loot chests require a skeleton key. They are found by butchering three skull world bosses.

hmm you have to beat that guy for the piece you need to remove the bracelet eventually, BUT you dont have to beat him to learn the armor recipe, you can run in past him and just click on any of the 4 tablets 1 right behind him and 3 in the back corners, then if your careful you can just jump down thru the center part and aim for water, takes you right back to the beginning part of the dungeon. thats a bit of a cheat but it works. i didnt see which weapon your using currently, you might want to run thru un named city bosses and get a decent weapon, maybe focus on the brute, if your by sepelmeru and find the obelisk south of the shattered springs, head southeast from there and you will find a keyhole gate into the un named city , the brute is the serpent man skeleton just inside, he can drop a sword called the predatory blade, has pretty high damage, make an advanced weap damage kit to put on it and it should be good, but only use light attacks, heavy attacks with any weapon that has predatory effect on it do no damage, only whatever other effect it may have like cripple but no damage. thats what im using currently on my playthru, with the damage kit on its 114 damage, 9 armor pen.

If you change your followers behaviour to “aggressive “ and keep him on a short leash, he might attack more often and act the way you want him to.

in the beginning i think you were talking about needing to make glass flasks? no need for a casting table, they drop here and there or you can just buy them 10 flasks for 1 silver in sepelmeru.

On the aqueduct (F7) is a one skull skeleton with a sword called “Eye of the watcher”, that will give cold insulation when held, as well as a shield in random loot chests that will give four cold insulation. And there is armour that gives better insulation as well. The Center of the bridge is the coldest, it will warm up at the other end. But enemies also do a cold effect with their attacks.

That bridge is particularly cold. There are other ways north aside from crossing the bridge. And for that matter, you can kill Nordheimers for hardened steel gear and then dismantle it, as another option.

yes best way to hand a purge is to make a separate purge base with nothing there except the coffer and decent lvled thralls, also make LOTS of noxious gas arrows to poison the enemies from a distance. and design the base so the entrance leads them thru a winding path with a few doors to hold them up while you poison most from above. still can be challenging solo. but at least with a seperate base they wont destroy work benches or chests.

thanks for the shoutout, i just restarted a playthru yesterday. ran out of the starting area desert while doing survivalist journey, and headed straight for the sorcerers cave to check the chests in the back for tools, didnt find a sickle, so had to gather some iron and stone for a furnace and blacksmiths table which i built by the summoning place, so i could make a sickle, grabbed the obelisk by the sinkhole and kept heading east, grabbed a foal on the island around k5 k6 area swam north east across the river to the spot with the purple lotus, got a bunch and kept going east to xel ha, gathered black lotus there after i had built another furnace and carpenters bench and dropped a stable for my horse, waited around for the horse to get tamed while killing a few apes and shoebills for leather and a saddle, rode my new mount all the way to the west to sepelmeru built a wheel of pain and a small shop while waiting on the 2 thralls i had tamed, bought some glass flasks and got some ichor from nearby sandreapers, and crafted some purple lotus orbs, then headed north after grabbing the nearby obelisk by shattered springs, got a Lian at Lian's watch, then brought him back to sep to tame, then spent the next couple of hours grabbing all the named thralls i could find in sep. played around 8 hours total but stopped to eat and took a few other breaks so more like 6 hours play time, hit 30 or 31 without trying to hard for levels, attuned 3 obelisks and had all the different types of thralls named except an armorer which i found first thing today, as well as a horse and a good fighter, and built a decent sized workshop while taming the thralls. could have hit 60 if i focused on gathering the resources for leveling, but this way i get everything set up quick, then finish lvling.

that 'shack' by the bridge isn't a waste, i know you probably built it in creative mode, but if you wanted to gather loads of resources to build legit, that is right beside the most resource heavy area in the game, tons of iron and stone inside and east of the godsclaw passage just south of the bridge, and loads of fairly dense trees to the west side of it. so iron for steel, wood for lumber and stone for bricks. spend a few minutes there with good tools and not hard to get around 20, 000 - 30,000 of each.
