Does anyone know how to add water caustics in fluid flux? I tried most of the stuff in fluid flux but can’t make caustics working.
Would have to look back but I think its the texture

How can I blend material of the static mesh(brighter) with the landscape material(darker)?

Would be SO great if they could make these water plugins work with static meshes. I have a whole 1:1 replica of Memphis, Tennessee that I'm wanting to add a beach to, but the whole project is a static mesh

I have noticed a few videos leave out the step on how to enable the foliage spawner. Go to Edit, Editor Preferences, Experimental and there you will see Procedural Foliage, check the box.

Dlss balence or high tsr balence for more fps ?
If you have a Nvidia Card use DLSS as it has the tensor cores. This will change in the future but for now that is what I use.

why doesnt this work for me? both are set on but the leaves still disappear in the distance with nanite and preserve area
im using multiple static meshes, but when i do this it only works on one mesh (the one i drop it onto), any idea how to make it work with all static meshes in the level'? thanks
I had this issue as well make sure collision is on the objects. But what fixed it was changing the height of the ocean then putting it back. It updated all the meshes

@@IndigoKidda if you check out the sample map there is a modifier that will make the ocean calmer. And there is a some other sample as well

For me it crashes as soon as I add the landscape patch. Anyone else got these problems? I'm on unreal 5.1 with my Macbook M3
Just tried and it’s working but that being said I am pc with a pretty good graphics card
@@AaronFhd Hi, thanks for looking into it. I get the following error: Fatal error: [File:./Runtime/RHI/Private/PipelineStateCache.cpp] [Line: 411] Shader compilation failures are Fatal. I got a M3 Max, which is pretty powerful, but Apple so idk :D Any idea if I could've done sth. wrong?

in UE5.4 the the entire ocean has this really choppy white water look for some reason. I tried tweaking the settings but doesn't seem to change it. help:(
I haven’t fully moved to 5.4 yet. I will take a look to see what is going on

A lot of stuff is covered in the masterclass. and you then have to expand on it by yourself. I am self taught individual, I pick things up very quick and keep learning.

Doas it Work with Skeletal Mesh Propper like tesselation in UE4.27 did?
It’s should as it’s a coming from the texture data.
@@AaronFhd Thanks for Response. The Texture just hold the Information for the Offset not for the Tesselation.I assume thay finaly made the DX12 Geometrie Shader Work in HLSL (Niagara).I should just test it becouse ,if it´s not working, waiting seams to be faster than trying to fix it self.
@@prototypega8257 5.4 will be released in April with proper support. Also take a look at Fortnite with the roofs of houses as they all use it.

Basics such as what to be aware of, what to avoid, examples of how to properly plan for use of varying proxies. For instance, if the island in this level caught on fire during a later point of the game, how can you configure it properly to save time. Thank you!

hi br, thanks for the video really helped a lot but I have a huge problem now, while rendering the fluid flux ocean the ocean moves in every single sample of the frame, for example I have 32*4 samples per frame in movie render queue that 1 frame with 128 sample fluid flux ocean moves 128 frames forward while sampling 1 frame so second frame starts from 129 while it should've started from 2nd frame, Can anyone help me please, I have been stuck on the rendering part from 4 days cause of this problem 😢

Is it possible to do the same with 2 meshes instead 1 mesh and landscape? (it happens very often that the lanscape is just a mesh). I mean texture blend between meshes
Not following but this is so the landscape will follow the mesh. If you want the textures to blend. That is RVT texture

Yes you can use meshes. The domain should put a grid for collision around them. You can see it with the debug
Aah ok, thanks for coming back so quickly. I've literally just purchased it and followed your tutorial. I added a large cube onto the shoreline in the hope that it may interact with the water but nothing seems to happen. (I am not familiar with the debug):( EDIT. I just moved the Coastline domain up and down and now its working. :)

I know this is a year later, but would you say there is really any point in using this setting if you are hitting your frame cap with 100% 3D resolution at all times? Idk yhis setting just seems kinda pointless to me if you think about it. Unless you are running a very inconsistent low fps.
Really depends on what hardware you have because it only works with TSR
