I kind of sort of agree with Myra about the dog moms I mean I think it’s silly but I still do it because it comforts me during my infertility journey. Now im not trynna come for Myra but I’m just saying you really never know why we do it. I mean I just do it because of my journey. I don’t celebrate but I do say my dog is my son for that reason.

I’m a donor I’m very grateful to have a chance to save a live my daughter had leukemia and she had a donor and I’m thankful %100 for that person.

Never truly valued organ donation until my infant needed a heart transplant. Donating your organs is not the same as donating your body to science. I urge everyone to consider donating your organs, you never know how many lives you can save, or when you or loved ones will need it 🤍

I wasn’t legally married with my husband and by law in Texas you are considered married if yall lived together more than 6 months . I was considered his wife and I made medical decisions and funeral arrangements for him since I was his “wife” .

I suggest you both make up your wills. Entire estate planning like your will and trust, actually. Name who takes guradianship over your kids if you and your partner die and you say who get your stuff, what funeral or burial arrangements you want.

For the Unpopular opinion with donors some people’s religions such as mine in Islam and being Muslim it doesn’t allow people to donate their organs so for religious reasons they aren’t able to donate but they should be allowed to receive an organ , and also Muslims aren’t shown after they die only the closest people to the person that are the same sex get to seem them and clean them to respect the dead for this life and the after

I think the bodies y’all are referring to, consented for their bodies to be used for scientific purposes. They donated their bodies to science. Being an organ donor is different. I’m pretty sure it’s limited to just the organs.

Pretty sure when you donate your body to science it’s a whole other process. When you become a donor everybody that has been waiting for organs, are priority always. Specially, the children.

The only thing we know for certain in this life is that we’re all going to pass eventually. Leaving your kids, siblings, or family in general to deal with the stress, financial/emotional, of a funeral is selfish in my opinion just because you don’t want to face the inevitable reality. You want them to have to put up a GoFundMe or go into debt so they can bury/cremate you?

When my son started nursery school he went from never getting sick to being sick all the time. He went for three months before the summer break and we had Covid, three colds and the flu it was awful

When I gave birth my boyfriend was giving my mom updates and when I had complications I told him not to tell my mom. He was like too late and later I found out my mom had fainted 😂

Girl I'm HERE FOR THE GIRL MOM ERA!!!! my husband and I decided to stop after our 2nd daughter. It's not that we didn't want to try for a boy, but truly we thought it doesn't matter about boy or girl it would be 3 humans to raise! And we are loving life with our 2 beautiful spunky girls!!! It is hard bc of upbringing telling you "have your boy" but I have so many health issues and it's just what my husband and I love! 🥰💖 Either way!!! God will bless you with what he has planned!!!!! I worked for a funeral home a few years ago, you’re spot on about getting or thinking about “getting your spot” even when we’re young. There are payment options unlike when a passing already happened & you definitely don’t need to pick your casket or anything like that. It can be left for the next of kin/family to decide when the time comes. Also a lot of people don’t know until you go through it. It’s definitely recommended to have life insurance, but having life insurance will not pay for the funeral/burial costs. You get that life insurance money after the funeral home sends over the death certificate which is after the funeral & in order to have a funeral, the full amount needs to be paid. Idk if I make sense but hope I helped someone 😊

I have a friend that practically died from Covid BUT was saved by a double lung transplant from a donor. Literally gave this man life again and he is now 2 years post op doing well. That’s the miracle of organ donation and life 🙏 his donor also helped 80 others by her tissue donations to others.
