Is it me or did highschool have wayyyy less actual class than it does now? Even including the god forsaken zoom classes, these kids didn't study 'nothin.

absolutely love this video, i graduated 2020 but im doing ~research~ for a book i hope to publish eventually which is set in 1997. so fun to see that high schoolers in the 90s were pretty much the same as in the 2010s, just doing slightly different things. might have to include the star wars card game too, never knew that was a thing!

Santa Teresa High School Class of '97 in San Jose, CA. Things have changed throughout the years. Simple. No internet and cell phones were slowly creeping in. We had pagers to communicate.

I was class of '99, not here but nevertheless this is awesome to remember how good we all had it then. Guy said "this isn't going on a big screen is it?" No, just 25 years later on a 50 something inch tv in 2023, that's all. Thanks for this btw The era between Nuclear attack drills and intruder drills. Wonder if this kid became a doctor. I never had goals like these people back then. I want to tell this Astros hat guy about 2005. Did Nick Zeller become a pimp? You don't have to be a musician to struggle with rent in 2023. Wonder how many of these kids are still alive. Half the people I would hang with are dead after 25 years.

I remember back then if you had a camcorder or a computer you were considered a bit nerdy. Now everyone has them in their phone. I like how the cameras still had film and you hand to wind them up. You also all look so classy dressed up for your prom.

Wow the mentality in 90's on getting married and having kids compared to 2010's is totally opposite. Kids now days don't even think about marriage or having kids. The blame is on media. Specially social media

I did not attend this school. I use to go to West Roxbury High School in Boston Massachusetts.
