Mommy's first hold of Nadia

This was the first time I got to hold my CDH baby girl. She was born on May 21, 2012, and this video is from June 5, 2012, when she was 16 days old. She had already been through three surgeries: one to put her onto ECMO at 13 hours old, one to take her off ECMO 7 days later, and one that put all her organs into their proper locations inside her tiny body. This was a happy day. She is wearing CPAP to help her breathe.
