Half life being 18h doesnt mean... Anything, really. An effective dose is a dose that reaches effective steady state concentrations (in this case, in The scalp). Another hair loss med, Dutasteride, has a half life of 5 weeks and you dont take it every month. You take it every day (usually) to reach desirable/effective steady state concentrations. The same applies to every single drug. Not saying once a day is not effective but the half life argument is just dumb in my opinion. Clinical data or that is just a moot point.
