A collection of live music I have filmed. Mostly Blues. Many cuts are younger performers playing traditional blues, attempting to carry the torch forward. Much of it was recorded in San Diego in either or club or festival. I have also filmed Cajun and Zydeco acts from my hometown of New Orleans.

Tight, powerful, authoritive bass playing, thunderous, precise drumming, like Bonham on cocaine, magical guitar work by Hill & Chavez, possibly the best I've ever heard and reminiscent of Mick Taylor & Keith Richards but better than both, and that voice, holy shit. Etta James & Tina Turner with Jagger-like performances. Best Rock & Roll band since 1968 Stones. Do yourself a favor. Watch them perform a song called "STRUTTIN". It may very well be the finest piece of pure Rock & Roll ever recorded. Awesome, awesome band. I was at this show. They made everyone before and after them look like they were asleep. Old farts like me were leaping in the air. I swore I could hear their knee replacements rattling. Struttin'...? It was a religious experience.

Hey I saw some version of Breez'n at Del Mar (at a trade show party) on April 24th 2024. They were awesome! Lots of 80s/90s covers. Not sure what's with this video -- no drummer, and no female lead singer. But just in case someone from the present drops by.... Breez'n are worth checking out if you see them playing!

Nobody except Kid Andersen…As exemplified in this performance. Much more creative and entertaining I would say. Ramos sounds a bit more average to me I would say.
@KelsoBradshaw When it comes to art no one person is the best but I sure like Kid Ramos. If he's "average" , that's a steep grading curve for the rest of us. Andersen is great, and very friendly, his family and mine are both from Bergen, Norway. His skill-set reminds me of Little Charlie

I’ve been playing music, my whole life and I totally enjoy this particular genre of music. I think Geno is a great guitar player. And the lady who’s singing is phenomenal. It’s sad that the blues doesn’t get the attraction from the young people and it’s all about the same pre-programmed music over and over again.
