Bassist Jason Kapchinske is living the dream-playing in a band with his sons! Older son Noah, 19, is the Sea Monks frontman, a funkabilly bandit on guitar and lead vocals, and 16 year old Kai is the Mighty Metronome on the drums. Family friend Jeff Houck plays guitar. The Sea Monks play a good-time mix of rockabilly, honky tonk, and blues and this young family band has already played venues such as San Diego’s Casbah and Austin’s Continental Club, and they’ve opened for national acts including Dale Watson, Rosie Flores, and Wayne Hancock.
